i've never changed the looks of my cars ever i just don't see the point of spending money on it. If it doesn't make it faster i don't do it. I do love my standard vectra lol
He's had a few sets in the past on other cars and they have always been really good. I'm going to let him test them on his and if they are good i'll get some too lol
Gutted to see that!!! mine had far less damage than that and was quoted 2k plus to fix so its more than likely a write off. I hope everything gets sorted quickly and you get a good payout for it.
I'll consider a set of these as my mate has had spax in the past and they have always been very good. Last time i looked spax didn't make them for the sport so i'm glad you pointed it out.
as the 172 have wider track than standard clios it sound like some of the parts fitted to your car are from a normal model and not a sport, especially with you saying the driveshafts were too long. it can be the only explanation
This one was only £1400 and i've had it a few months now. Its full renault service history up to 94k and loads of reciepts just gone through its mot with only minimal problems mostly bulbs lol. The blue one would have been a cat c if i'd of got it repaired but it was cheaper to just buy another...
Today i tried recreating some old pictures of the blue 172 as i was at my mates bodyshop and bored. So here they are
I think it worked quite well :rasp:
Yeah i would as that will sound best. If you are really serious you could sound deaden the doors and upgrade all the wiring but tbh its not necessary unless you are really serious about the sound quality.
The pressure from the sub pushes on the cone of the 6x9 so they struggle to move properly. i was always advised never to use 6x9 with a sub. You want to concentrate on getting a good sound from the front as that will make it sound so much better. think of it like watching a concert you wouldn't...
Yeah good point. I have to remember its a £1400 car that is meant to be a weekend warrior not a show car. I think i'll borrow your buffer and give it a proper going over.
