I've been on that really twisty road before but i'd never be able to find i again. Have you any idea where it was because i had fun on it last time?

It coped well considering. It'll be a lot better with its fresh engine mounts and disks and pads all round. I managed to snap an exhaust hanger while out so that was making the exhaust knock like crazy. I'm gaining a lot more confidence in it now which is always a good thing.

Sportlines handle amazing on standard dampers but i wouldn't say the car will look low on them. Mines stripped out and on sportlines and it looks higher than standard

A bit of background history of the Car first. The car is a high mileage ph1 172 its on 112k now but has a great service history so the mileage did not put me off. It had Full renault dealer history upto 94k with all the belts done etc etc it also came with a pile of reciepts for general bits...

Change engine mounts, koni dampers,eibach springs, brembo hc discs, ferrodo ds2500 pads and braided hoses. You should be able to do all that for 1k i'd of thought and it would accelerate, handle and stop well then. Saying that though i fitted a bucket seat and harness and the car feels so much...

Same mileage as rexe's above mate. Mine was 1400 its on 111k it had full renault service history upto 94k then reciepts for service after that. also included were loads of other reciepts for tires, exhausts and other random bits. both mine and rexe are black too

Mine cost me £1400 my mates cost a grand there are some very good bargains out there. They do seem to have gone back up a bit though.

My old clio entered the motorway backwards and hit the central reservation. No other cars where involved. The only injuries occured when the driver seat airbag went off and cracked my rib. The clio is sadly no longer with me.

The best thing is coz i wrote my other off i have basically a full car's worth of spares for it if something does go wrong :) the other was all body damage nothing mechanical was damaged :)
