Well as I said, the way it was bound up in tape and the way in which my name and address had been word processed rather than 'officially' printed makes me think ebay. But then the docket is such that it has come direct from Ford?!

Came home to a large, heavy parcel which appeard to have come from eBay judging by the address label on it. Opened it up to discover this! I have NO idea how I've ended up with it. I've checked bank statements in case someone is pissing about but then why send it to me, and not...

When you say indicators, you mean the side repeater lenses that are orange? The smoked ones should go with the colour of your car nicely.

Yeah, I'm looking at a set of coilovers in the for sale section that have been advertised as fitting a PH1 172. I wanted to check that this isn't the case, and they would fit my PH2 172...

First and best mod by far is a set of new bulbs all round. Silvatecs.

They're fine. No complaints from me. The state of the roads as they are, anything other than OEM fit is going to be 'bumpy'.

Are both the Phase 1 and Phase 2 172s 54mm?

Lowering 60mm is fine on standard shocks. You'll only wish you'd done it once you see that 40mm isn't enough ;)
