Check IGN.com, they have plenty of PS3 videos.
The games currently out with the PS3 are frankly rubbish! Look at resistance, supposed to show off the PS3's technical capabilities. Well, it doesnt look as good as COD3 lets alone Gears of War.
Look at their review of Tony Hawks on PS3. No...
Ah, the 16 bit days. Used to love my Super NES!
Anyway, Scutch. Definately worth getting. There are some top games, and Live is great. The PS3 will have a technical advantage, but tbh you wont really notice this on the top games.
The thing is if you buy a 360, you probally wont want / need...
^^^ I heard the fans cooling the processor were very loud! Mind you, that was on the test bed version so that would be noisy I suppose...
They are all great machines, and lets face it, competition is what gives the customer value for money and great games in the end!
Graphics arnt that good?
Gears of War on 360 (click on the HD one on the right);

Compare this to the 'killer app' thats been released with the PS3, which is supposed to show the PS3 off, Resistance Fall of Man...
^^^ depends how good a driver you are, lol! Having driven a 182 and Caterham on the track I will agree to disagree (though they were on different tracks). Never driven a cup though which will be slightly better on the track than the 182 I should imagine, but not by a significant amount.
No way would the 1*2 be more useable on the track! By far the fastest car I have ever driven was a Caterham Supersport 1600. We are talking gut wrenching acceleration and handling that you simply cant beat in a tin top, its in another world on the track, wet or dry.
Clio and Caterham gets my...
Debs - yeah, they should tell you that at the time. If not, its printed on the back of the form, but I doubt most people read that.
172 - hmmm, not sure about the EU directive, you may be right, I've never looked into it. All new cars seem to have them these days, even vans so you are probally...
Yes they can. The middle break light isnt an obligatory light and is only added by the manufacturers. Both side brake lights must be working. Though I think there is a slight oddity in the law that states if the third brake light is fitted, it must be working. But essentially, you must have both...
Yeah thats what I meant, the garage doesnt have to do the job and lets face it, apart from pumping up your tyres its the easiest job you can do on the car!
With the VDRS he'll still need to take it to an MOT approved garage to get the form stamped - this proves that he, or someone else has...
Dont think any garage will charge you for a full MOT, and I dont think anyone would pay it!!!
Usually for the VDRS (which is what the form is called when it needs to stamped) its completely free, though some garages may ask a small fee for their time, normally no more than a couple of quid.
Er, you dont have to get it fixed by the garage, they only have to look at it and stamp the form to say "yep, its fixed".
Whats the big deal??? He could have given you a '£30 wonder' for driving with a duff light.
It is perfectly fine on a normal tv with the advanced scart cable - thats what I'm talking about with the bundled cable - its rubbish and makes things look blurred on a normal tv. As I said above though, this cable sorts the problem out. Its the same with all consoles, they bundle in rubbish...
If your TV supports RGB signals, and most TVs with SCART sockets do, I'd buy the Advanced Scart cable as the normal cable that comes with it (the HD cable with the analogue connections for those that dont have HD) is rubbish unless you have HD and doesnt do the console justice... Good...
I've driven a few through work, and they were driving right on the limit on occation. Lets just say the limit of the car was very easy to find due to the amount of understeer! Probally something to do with the silly tractor engine stuffed in the front messing things up!
In all fairness, they...
What a pointless thread. For a start, performance wise the 1*2 (and valver and willy) are in another legue compared to even the GT TDI 150 - look at the figures. Point to point the Renaults are even faster.
I have driven the GT TDI 150 and it was useless off the mark and handled like a boat...
Bloody lovely pics mate! Wish I lived somewhere like that, the south coast is soooo boring when it comes to roads and scenery (there isnt any! Scenery that is). Cant get the vid to work though...
^^^ they did indeed - issue 66 (April '04). It was when they did the feature on the greatest drivers car if the dacade which featured the Williams. Came 6th ahead of the Impreza P1, 911 Turbo (993), Elise 135 and BMW M3!
They had a buyers guide after the article.
Look out for state of the...
Hmmm, not sure about that, standard they are 102bhp with a 0-60 time of 10.4 seconds with only 106 bhp per tonne, your average 1.4 will match that... However, they are still good fun tho and will pull away from a 1.2 but thats to be expected! Mod the engine though and they do go as they only...
I'm sure there are reliable ones - the ones that have been looked after, but then you have to pay a bit more for a good one, but wouldnt have thought over 2k. My Williams is 12 years old but has been completely reliable for the 3+ years I've had it and all I do is change the oil and wash it so...
Suppose, depends where you go, but either way you'll be paying hot hatch insurance for something that does 0-60 in over 10 seconds, theres much better around for your money!
If you want a cheap, reliable fast car, look for a Honda Civic 1.6 VTi (1996 - 2000), cheap as chips, bulletproof and...
Wouldnt bother with the Zetec S, really nothing special performance wise and cost as much as a VTR to insure ( for example, if youre looking at that end of the market) and is slightly slower...
Plasmas' can still be unreliable, my mates one blew up in his front room only last month and it was only 3 years old. It was a pretty good HD LG one too. Plasma TVs will always need re-gassing after about 5 years anyway, and that can cost a fortune alone.
LCDs are the better buy. They are just...
I reckon the 4x4 theory is a goodun, looks like a corner of a rear mounted spare tyre, would explain the multiple imprints - some middle aged mother who cant park. Prob is, this wont leave paint scrapes on the other car, but I'd still examine all those 4x4s in the road today!
