I used to play games for hours when I first got them. Now they don't seem to grip me like they used to. I don't think I've got through more than halfway in any 360 game (except Forza 2). Probably less than 20% though any PS3 game. Don't know whats changed.
The only time I found it useful is when shooting from a wierd angle such as very low down or high up when it's not practical to have the camera to your face.
That very similar to what I'm speccing at the moment.
As for you Roy, i'd hold fire, there is only 2/3 fps difference from what you have now to an i7 based system!
Bit of a thread hijack but what are pay as you go call charges like, I hardly use my own mobile (work phone ftw.) and wondered if I could save changing from a monthly contract.

I went through 2 homehubs, both were awful, kept dropping the wireless connection for no reason. I ended up binning the 2nd replacement and bought a wireless router. Worked perfectly, everytime afterwards.
I've been on 2010 for about the last week and a bit. Seems a bit more stable. 2009 kept falling over whenever doing 3d orbits in shaded views.
I hate the migration manager, it never f**king works! I spend at least half a day reseting everything back up to how I want it. I swear they change...
