Yeah, I would understand if he was claiming, but he isn't. Besides, even if he is claiming, it don't make a f**king difference!
He must have paid at LEAST £1500 for his insurance premium, the insurance won't pay that much out, so don't f**king complain! He aint putting your premium up because...
With regards to your comment about not being able to take the engine out. Just unbolt a few bits. Because most of the front end is damaged, it doesn't matter what you break to get the engine out :p
Probs get a bit for the engine and the gearbox perhaps, so maybe just sell them off, then the exhaust system. Then any body / internal parts in tact, then scrap rest :)
If your insurance company doesn't charge through the roof to cancel and if you pay monthly, get another quote off them with your current age and if the new quote is less than the cancellation fee off what you're currently paying, then cancel and take out a new policy :)
(I think I worded that...
would it not be best to relay them in to the door opening wire that is attached to the courtesy light above the mirror. Then there won't be as much strain on the standard wiring
Thanks for the replies guys
Dink is on the same brain wave as me. I'm not going to just get rid of some speakers that my dad purchased for me for £50...
I wanted to connect 2 speakers to each 1 channel and I believe that the amplifier is 2 ohm stable but just wanted to check that my set up I...
Darren, how would I go about that if I only have 1 RCA out from my Head Unit?
I was told that most amps nowadays could happily accomodate more than 1 speaker per channel?
Lol @ Ben! Although, nice car :)!
Hey guys!
Just a quick question that has left me thinking a lot!
I am looking in to wiring 4 door speakers and 2 6x9s in to a 4 channel amp and this is the wiring diagram that I have come up with
Is this correct?
On another note, I currently have a 2 channel amplifier. Could...
Well that's bloody annoying. I paid £100 for mine from scrappy!
Had to get a new interior though because the seat adjustment handles were snapped off :(
@Clio142 it's only so cheap because my dad is very good mates with the guy that does it :) Plus the guy owes my dad for stuff my dad has done to his car. Well as said before, if the car is only going to be worth like £500 there is no point spraying it. Reason being is that I have already spent...
I was looking at getting something that is cheap on the insurance. I can get up to insurance category group 10 with a reasonable insurance price. Was looking for something with a bit of poke but also with all the usual spec. On my list, Clio 1.6 16v, Saxo VTR (standard if possible), Corsa 1.8...
Yeah exactly the same situation lol and it's not a good one to be in :P
lol, some people would say that it looks badly repaired after a crash but, if I was to be able to get the second hand parts to make it look how it used to, then it wouldn't look like that. I have rung round loads of local...
My dad bought the 6x9s lol. I only put the grille things on them because otherwise they don't fit in the holes that the previous owner put in the shelf properly.
I keep looking out for a bonnet and grilles because as soon as they come up, I can sell mine off and get new ones :)
I was looking...
Thanks Reyes :)
I have tried to look after it since I have had it :) Keeping it regularly washed and polished. Renault Red comes up quite shiny once you give it a once over with some polish
Thanks, I wish that I had chosen some alloys with slightly less spokes because these can be a pain to...
I know it has a few issues. The side trims will cost me £10, and the bonnet and grill, it's all down to taste really. Some people like it being grey, some don't. It's the same as, some people like carbon bonnets, some don't.
Can I ask for elaboration on the 6x9s :P?
I know you're not having a...
Tbh, I didn't think my car was that bad, after seeing some of the comments I have received I am a little confused. Everybody that sees my car has told me how good condition the car is in. The car is exactly how I got it except I bought alloys for it and had the bonnet replaced. The tinted...
Hello mate, thanks for your response :)
I have had a few offers of around £700 for this but they never actually go through with the offers apparently. The mismatched panels seems to be quite popular in my area at the moment, so that's not too much of an issue which is good. With regards to the...
