The side strips, I can pick them up cheaply, but they have never bothered me and that is why I have left them as is.
Not tooo tooo bothered about lowering the car really but have always wanted it to be colour coded
The tints were already on the windows when I got the car and they are a pain in...
My dad said that it looked too difficult to do when he was under the car fitting a new wish bone the other day.
Does the anti roll bar, ball joint or wishbone need to be taken off to do it?
These are all such a pain in the ass to do =/
Thanks for the ideas guys. The thing is, with the colour coding and that, it's quite expensive (for me anyways)
I am actually looking to sell the car and whilst we're at it, without the alloy wheels, so, with standard steel wheels with practically new tyres on each corner, what do you reckon I...
Well, here are some pictures of my Renault Clio 1.2 8v 1999 :)
And some light damage caused by a brick some cnut threw at my car!
What do you guys reckon, except the obvious that it needs lowering ;)
Best insurance company for 18 year olds... MORE THAN in my opinion
Honestly, they have beaten every other quote I have found from anywhere. Same for my mates!
as I say, if you use a slightly smaller socket, it kinda makes its own shape around the locking nut if it's stronger metal. Every socket I have tried on a locking nut has been stronger metal :)!
easy mate
get a socket that is slightly smaller than the locking wheel nut
Hammer it on
then you can just take it off with your ratchet
N.B.
you will probably damage the socket and/or locking wheel nut during this. You shouldn't damage your wheel though :)
I use Ally Brite on my wheels
Brings them up lovely
Reacts with the brake dust to make it a sludge then just jet wash it off

I never had problems with the 25 point check when I took mine in for the bonnet catch recall last week. They told me that my brake fluid was low and that the coolant needed changing. Which they both do.
They didn't check most of it though, because they didn't have any ramps available :(
I am in EXACTLY the same situation :(
My car has now done 137,000 miles!!
Cam belt snapped and took out cylinder head at 116,000 miles, but has been replaced
A lot of the general wear and tear items (bushes and so on) have all now been replaced, so technically, the car is full of new parts...
I just put it down to my 10 year old car having done 140k miles and slowly grinding to a hault.
@ Roy, yeah that would explain things, because of the piston in the calipers?
Although, the brake fluid levels are BELOW MINIMUM :o
Nokia N86
lovely bit of kit :)!
Top of the range and not the most expensive :)
On phones for you, you can get a contract with 02. £25 a month for 2 years for 600 minutes and unlimited texts all cross network and the phone for FREE
That's good to hear :)
i was wondering why it has been a bit slower recently
Last year, I managed to do 0-62 (on stopwatch, so not entirely accurate) in 11.9 seconds in my 1999 1.2 8v clio. It now struggles to do it in 14.5 seconds
Been to kwik fits today (best service I have ever received!) and they had a look at my car for me. It is in fact the calipers are sticking :).. Will be cleaning them off tomorrow and fitting some new pads :)
lol...
Well I didn't gripe about it as such because it was free anyways, but I was slightly annoyed because there is a knocking sound coming from under the car when turning and I was hoping that they would pick it up, but because there was no ramp free, they were unable to check them.
They...
