Maybe bushes need replacing?
I have got the same issue and have been told that my bushes are worn :) (I too had wheels balanced and tracked a month back)
update:
Just had my bonnet done because of the Renault recall and they did the 25 point check for me
Apparently the brake fluid is well below minimum
could this be the cause?
They couldn't check all the main stuff because they didn't have a ramp available :(
Hey guys!
Thanks for more responses to my topic :)!
I try to use engine braking as much as I can , which, you say is not necessarily a good thing. I like to think that I do not actually use the brakes that much, for example, when I'm in stop start traffic, I use only the clutch and 1st gear to...
sorry to sound like a complete numpty, but can you elaborate on what you mean by "can you spring the fronts freely whilst they're up in the air? " please?
Yeah, I am pretty sure something is being a problem for it to be like this
Okay, thanks for the idea mate!
You live quite near to me btw :)
I'm from Deal, near Dover :)!
Well I want to sell my car, so I might just get some cheapy brakes and get them fitted and tell the new owner they need to bed them in?
Im not sure about the bedding in, I usually only bed them in for sort of, 50 miles or so.
Would this lead to premature wearing?
I have seen elsewhere on the net that the cheap rubbish Eicher ones don't bed in and are rubbish
Thanks for the help guys
do you guys think that these budget ones could be budget enough to wear out so quickly?
the pads are either Eicher or Bendix :)
Thanks for all the suggestions guys :)!
How would I diagnose a sticky caliper?
I don't ride the brakes at any point whilst I'm driving, only use them when I need to slow down :)
I use the gears to slow down as well as brakes, I try to use the gears more than the brakes though
The make of...
Sounds just like the problem I have mate! :)
I took my car to kwik fits today and they said that the bushes were shot
Will be getting my dad to fix them over the next few days then will let you know how I get on :)!
Hello there guys!
I have now been driving for just over a year
I am driving a Renault Clio 1.2 8v (1999)
When I first of all got the car, I had new brakes put on all rounds as the brakes already on the car had worn down. Shortly afterwards (4000 miles) the front pad on the left hand...
I wasn't saying that they aren't chavvy, I said DISREGARDING that they are chavvy, meaning, they are chavvy, but ignore that point.
he wants something cheap to insure.
8 seconds, that is not dreadful at all  for you to cut just over a second off to insure a Clio 182 cup, the insurance...
disregarding that corsas are chavvy.
A Corsa 1.8 SRI, insurance cat 9 and it does 0-60 in 8 seconds flat as standard, try and find an equivalent, other than the C2 (which I think looks ugly), in the same insurance group or lower ;)

Bloody brilliant site
You enter your username and password (follow the full instructions) and it bids within the last few seconds
It's up to you whether you trust the site or not :) Personally, I have used it for 2 years now, but...
Be careful with this.
When I got my Clio.. one of the rear brake shoes slipped... the lining came off the shoe.. jammed the rear left wheel up solid... was a pain to get the drum off and everything, took around 4 hours to do it. Luckily I was only going 20 mph in a 20mph limit!
I would say the same as above
Not so bad if you break it, just means you will use a bit more fuel because it will vapourise, but you can get a replacement cap for pennies :)
Edit:
Brilliant :)
I have dealt with a similar problem when I used to work in the industry
We had some clients that had a hotel chain and they had a client visiting them that needed to login to their VPN at Nokia. The Hotel whose systems we maintained, were on Orange broadband. You will need to contact Orange...
Nope... magnets DONT wipe hard drives because they are in a solid state and also... even if you smash hard drives, it is still POSSIBLE to get data from them ;)
needs to be the same AMP and Voltage ;)
If yours is a 2 pin connector from mains to your charger, you need a 2 pin.. if its 3 pin, you need a 3 pin
Also, make sure that the end going to your laptop is the same ;)
Most OLD laptops :)
The newer laptops, if the battery is screwed, won't turn on :)
Reason being, is because the power still flows through the battery then into the laptop
Try it off the mains without the battery plugged in if its old
But as I said before, I bet something on the motherboard...
I have heard of this problem when I was working in IT actually.
I think something on the motherboard was screwed when we sent it off to the retailer and they sent a brand new laptop because it's much easier for them to do that, than replacing the motherboard :)
It cannot be anything to do with the Operating System. Just because vista doesn't want to load, doesn't mean that it won't turn on. Don't believe anything that retailers tell you when they fix your computer, they make up a load of crap usually to make it look like it isn't their fault.
If it...
