Have always ran brembo max disc with ferodo ds2500 pads, is there really much difference between the max and hc.
Am I wasting my money buying max disc when they are £120 compared to the HC disc £70???
Not really sure to be honest, couple of weeks ago a whining started when in gear and off the throttle. Now the noise has got a lot worse, but only stops when you press the clutch. It has always had a high biting point and has been very stiff for the five years I have owned it.
I have H&R's and they are great. They feel like the cup suspension, are not crashy in any way. They lower the car too a good height and handle excellent. Worth the money, but are alot of money for just adjustable height coilies.

Hope you guys can help. Last nite a noise occurred, which sounds like a whirring/rattling noise, which has got worse. It seems to be coming from the clutch or gearbox. When I'm in neutral while coasting along there is no noise, but when i lift off the throttle when in gear, the noise is there...
I know we tried to organise a breakfast run a few years back, nothing came of it.
Would be good to do one, a Sunday morning to the coast, hythe/whitestable and having breakfast there.
Spotted a sunflower yellow ph1 172 on the m25 between jct7 & 8. Also spotted a White ph1 172 with cf bonnet in ashstead, surrey, between 7.45 and 8 am. Anyones?
Between ashstead and espom, this morning at 7.30, I spotted a imperial non cup pack 182 with pp, a 172 cup and then saw a ph1 172 with 182 style exhaust, anyones!!!!
I fitted coilovers to mine, and was questioning whether it was worth it, but can tell you that coilovers are great, they change the look of the car with height adjustable, but also the feel of the car. If you can put up with feeling every bump and avoiding potholes, the go for it. Other than...
I doubt it will make a difference, but was told if you take the wheels off then the tracking will be out. I am still driving around without the tracking and wheel alighnment done, cos i am waiting for my H&R's to settle, to make sure I am happy with the height.
