Very brave cutting it... Fair play.
I had the same problem, rang up Yozza and they said they were made in a jig, and couldnt be wrong. So I just stuck some old pipes, and cable tied them in the exhaust mounts, and it fits fine.
The only problem you have now is that if anything goes wrong with...
Have you got uprated pads etc. Sometimes after the damp weather, my rear brakes seize up when i drive off, just brake slowly as you drive off to clean the disc's.
Hopefully that is the problem?
From the review on here the Ktec coilies are very good value for money, a good upgrade to the cup suspension. But there must be a difference between ktec and H&R coilovers, considering the cost. Not been in a ktec clio yet, so cant give an opinion, am getting my H&R coilies fitting next week though.
^^^ davis88 is right, they will fit, but the 182 is et45 and the 172 cup is et38.5. May be ok lowered 40mm, but could scrub, your best bet would be the trophy wheels, et45, but they are rare.
Yozza is the best quality exhaust i've seen on a clio other than a Orbisoud exhaust.
They are good exhaust's and are not as loud as people make out to be.
Was quoted by a company today that has a lot of expertise in setting up race cars for the tracks. They quoted me £220 to setup my coilies, asking me how i drive, and whether i want alittle understeer or oversteer. They said it should take around 3 hrs.
Is that a good price, or too much. Want a...
May be a very silly question, but am after one 13mm nut to fit ontop of my H&R coilover, anyone know where i can get from. Have looked b&q, halfords, most diy places and on th net, cant seem to get a nut bigger than 12mm?
Any advice would be brilliant.
Thats a fair point, they seem to be a very good kit for the money and get good reviews.
I was going to get them, but Ktec got me some H&R coilovers at a very good price. Didnt want to get the ktec coilies and regret it,have always wanted H&R's, so will try out the H&R and try to get a ride in a...
I didnt mean there was anything wrong with the ride, not driven a 182 with ktec suspension. The way the car drives and handles is a personal thing, so may be fine for you and me but not for someone else.
Plenty out there for the cliosport, but remembering that the clio 200 hasnt been out that long, so mods may be thin on the ground. Though the 200 is based on the 197, so it may be transferable.
