Hi you might find that insurance companies may turn you away with a crash damaged 172/182 even if repaired. i crashed mine and the company i was with said they would not insure the car again even if it was fully repaired. I'd be wary and check with your insurance company before buying anything.

I've been using infinity refernce speakers in the past 5 cars i've owned. for the price i personally wouldn't use anything else. i've tried other speakers and none have sounded as good or lasted as long.

so you saying it just twists? i'm not using vice grips on an alloy gearknob it will ruin it

not looked at the link but i got a t-tuning, tuning box off ebay for my vectra 1.9cdti and the difference was amazing and only took me five minutes to fit. just do a search fo t-tuning they may do one for the clio

Is it possible to fit the 172 engine into a valver? what parts are needed from the 172? i have a full 172 to use i'm just struggling to find a cheap ph2 mk 1 so was wondering about using either the valver or for total stealth a ph1 mk2 as these are a lot cheaper. Any help will be appreciated the...

I need the vectra for work now. And the fact people think its an under cover police car on the motorway is just an added bonus. (high viz vest worn lol). If people want to start a collection to get my clio back on the road then i'll not argue lol ;) 1.2 shells will be kindly accepted :)

After writing my phase 1 172 off i decided i'd be slightly more sensible. I ended up with a vectra sri 1.9cdti, it averages 50 mpg and standard its not too much slower than the clio. i'm going to get it remapped which will push it to 200 bhp and 322 ft lb of torque :) . It handles suprisingly...

i bought the car back its getting reshelled eventually there was no mechanical damage but the shells had it. going to get a golf mk4 tdi for a runner. if i manage to get my golf soon i'll be along to the meet.

mine aquaplaned hit the central reservation and i still drove home that is dedication for you :)

none of the mechanical bits are damaged the car drives fine still, but the boot floor is crumpled and nearly every panel on the drivers side is battered. it could be a simple case of reshelling the car. i'll wait to see what the engineer says but, hopefull i'll be able to buy it back and work...
