172 for conversions

just crashed mine its all bodywork damage. what are these selling for as spares for conversions? the car has brand new engine mounts and driveshafts, cat back blue flame exhaust, and was a fast one lol. cars on 76k miles. oh its phase 1 so cable throttle not fly by wire rubbish lol

Guessing about £400 for the engine, £150 for the gearbox as a starting point, although I'm not sure if the ratio's on the ph1 box are suitable for the ph2?

You don't say of the front subframe's been knocked? If it's ok you could probably sell it as a job lot for about £650ish I'd guess. Seats, etc are worth a nice amount as well normally, as long as they're ok...

none of the mechanical bits are damaged the car drives fine still, but the boot floor is crumpled and nearly every panel on the drivers side is battered. it could be a simple case of reshelling the car. i'll wait to see what the engineer says but, hopefull i'll be able to buy it back and work from there

I can't bring myself to get another clio as it will never be the same as this one. It was one owner from new really low mileage and a well looked after example it was also quick as a few people commented on this when on the wales run. I had intended to make this car completely mint and keep it for ever, i had done all the mounts, shafts and it was lined up to get all the bodywork resprayed. as this is not possible now i think the next car will probably be a lotus elise. i've thought about imprezas and evo's but they won't fit in my back yard and i couldn't leave it on the street lol.
