I'd just watch for it burning oil now... The sump plug fell out of my 172 cup when the Renault garage didnt tighten it up.. Think it fried the piston rings at the top with the lack of oil pressure.. Turned it off straight away but it started burning a fair bit of oil and I eventually needed a...
I'm liking the look and sound of this..
Pity it will prob never go into production, especially the way Renault's finances are going.

I've actually seen quite a few of the r's, vw must be selling a fair few. I suppose it looks more understated and better built than the 1M. It would tune quite easily as well and you would get all of the power down.
I don't understand why they left the sciorrico r fwd. Marketing?
I never said the car was rubbish just wondering why he went for that over other options.... And they are both road legal track day cars so I think you need to check your facts....

I also think a couple of full bore launches would twist the chassis all over the place...
Daniel its ok I know he owns one so will be defensive about it. But to claim a std rotary is as reliable as a std ls1/ls2 V8 in my view is madness.
Anyway every1 is entitled to their opinions... :)
Yeah but you don't need to worry about det with the Ls's and that's my point... You just get in and drive them and that's it.
I don't think we will agree on this point so i'll stop taking up this poor guys thread.
I love the looks of the Rx7, always have and would buy one, but I would be...
Mate that isn't true and you know it. People have looked after their rotaries religiously and they still end up in a pile of bits. If the engine was so reliable so many of them wouldnt be getting converted. I can see that you are defensive over the car you own and rightly so, but you need to...
