Most cars come with a factory tint near this limit so I doubt you can tint the fronts.
Vice City.
SA was great, but it didn't have the feel that Vice City did. IV is just way to serious. I really hope that 5 goes back to the GTA of old, with RC Helicopters with explosives, and pizza deliveries, and getting rewards for doing things a bit mental. IV was a much bigger and more...
Those '78 videos are great.
That Suzuka one confused the hell out of me for a while too, before I realised it was mirrored.
Comparing them to today's drivers is impossible though. Its a completely different discipline. The challenges of modern F1 are in different areas. Modern F1 cars can...
Yes, I know, but most of them there are no servers.
If you choose 'Quick Race' there seems to be a 99% chance you will end up in a server playing unlimited cars where everyone is in X class LMP things.
I keep trying to play this online with a group of friends and I'm hitting 2 issues.
a) if we all join a party, and then the host goes to find a game, we never seem to end up in a public game with anyone else. We just end up on our own, even though if we join individually we can join plenty of...
****, completely forgot about this, and my car is likely to be off the road (and 80 miles from me) for most of January :(
Sorry Will, can you take me off the list.
That Espace was fantastic!
Saw it at Goodwood FoS. Heard this screaming F1 engine and turned around expecting to see some sleek F1 racer going up the hill, and saw a people carrier being hustled between the bales at alarming speed :)
Clio Williams was named after the F1 team they supplied engines to and because Williams had some input in development (I believe)
The Cup and Trophy names come from the names of one make championships RenaultSport run, namely the Clio Cup and the Megane Trophy
The R26 and R27 are names of that...
TomTom has been 'in development' for Android for about 2 years with very little from TomTom about progress. Something is holding it up, and I doubt very much its a technical issue.
For them to confirm this has TomTom in it, It would be fairly safe to say its not Android.
It's my thread, lol!
Sportlines and Cup shocks (fronts) will set you back about £250. Seen as any coilovers at this price are apparently made of tin foil and jam, if £250 is what you have to spend, this seems to be the best and only option.
So cheap coilovers will be no better than standard shocks and sportlines? Thanks, ill stick with the original sportlines idea then.
See, that wasn't hard was it? I don't get some peoples attitude on this forum. If its not the most expensive stuff, its crap.
So... Your suggestion for a cheap way to get a bit lower and stiffer suspension is a £700 set of coilovers...
This thread is meant to be about any alternatives to sportlines, which means stuff around the same price, not 4x more. I'm well aware that more expensive setups are better, bit if I...
The rear shocks are new, I would get some new fronts with the sportlines.
It needs to go lower though so stock springs are out. With the 15" wheels on it has a fairly comedy arch gap thing going on :)
I dont drive to work so its pretty much doesn't move unless I drive it to a trackday. I wanna do it as cheaply as possible as it is, as you said, a pretty worthless French box. However, when I mention getting sportlines I get told I am wasting my money????
Don't the cup campers have different...
Standard setup isn't that much. If i was to get Sportlines and camber bolts the complete cost would be:
Front shocks £120 + rear shocks £100 + Sportlines £125 + camber bolts £20 = £365.
Which by your rules means even the cheapest sub £400 coilovers would be better?
Basically, can i get a...
Yeah, the airbag warning light being on will be a fail, whereas it isn't now.
This may also be a problem for me. I took my car for an MOT last month. When I dropped it off, no lights. the guy moved the driver seat to drive the car into the ramp, and the shoddy cabled under the seat meant the...
This is the ambiguity that we wont really understand until people start getting MOTs.
Its unclear as to whether things like airbags and washers are required if your car was fitted with them when it left the factory.
Either way, I'm screwed. I have washers fitted but one of them is wedged...
The issue is supply. They have suddenly become quite popular with the RS Clio scene, so demand has risen massively. Whiteline are an Australian based company so getting them to the UK means shipping them on a boat. Companies don't tend to order that many in for stock so they sell out quickly...
Whats the cheapest way to get some decent lowering and stiffening on a stock 172?
Since fitting 15s and doing a couple of track days, it desperately needs lowering, and I would like a stiffer set-up. My initial though is just some Eibach Sportlines, but what about cheap coilovers? I'm not...
