Its good points are it's much more friendlier for browsing the web than the iPod Touch or the iPhone. That's where it wins. The rest of it (IIRC) you can pretty much do on the iPhone. Maybe not the iBook Store - which in itself is pretty cool. If you've got the money to spend on it, then why not.

Hmmm. I'm running the same and mines never given me any problems. Are any of the iTunes 'add ons' (shall we say) still installed when you reinstall... In other words, when you uninstall the old version are you following the sequence as per the link I posted further up?

Brakes I'd say. The longer you go without getting them checked the worse it'll get. You'll probably need pads and discs, depending how long you've been driving it like that for. :)

You can feel what the discs are like by running your finger across them (not sure what your alloys are like and how accessible they'd be to do so) you'd be able to hear a grinding if they were too low when you braked. Not sure about going round corners really, I can't say I've noticed that ever...

I was going to say strut top mounts. But scraping and scratching noises I'm not so sure. :S I'd agree the fluid would be low for the handbrake.

Got mine at 9k. From about 15/16k onwards it's felt a lot better and been much better economy wise.

Aux should be done at 36k or 5 years (IIRC). So both should've been done by now or shortly be getting done on some 182s. Some places do it together (cam and aux) for about 480 quid, usually get a service done at the same time. A dealer will be a lot more. For an aux alone, no idea.

Can this be effected by your distance from the exchange? We're really close to the telephone exchange for our village, if you've moved away further away from this than your previous house perhaps that's an issue. Especially if it was perfectly fine at your old house.

They must be getting pressure from elsewhere. I guess the Police have been in contact with them, etc. and they know about the investigation? Sounds all a bit dodgy. I'd probably check with the Police if it's ok to raise it with BG.

Surely if you're not claiming from them why should they care? Is the BMW woman pushing them, or her insurers? I know you said she was kind and understanding, but you never know. I'm pretty sure your insurers would rather recover damages from BG than pay out themselves.

Pester the Police for a definitive answer as to whether they can help you? If not, write to BG. I'd be itching to get it sorted out, TBH.

We don't have an Apple near us yet. I usually have to go to Leicester if I'm there or Blue Water. They'll swap the charger no issue. Headphones could be classed as wear and tear.

My iPhone one is the same, and my headphones do it every single time. They'll swap no bother. :)

I do like the GT, but I'm a little disappointed in the shine from it in the pics. Looks like dull painted plastic in comparison to the black bus. It looked a nice colour in the showroom when I saw one but it doesn't look too metallic-like. Hopefully some daylight sunshine pics will prove me...

+1 on the black. Satin though, don't think gloss will suit.
