Don't get me wrong, Ali. I completely agree. The R27 was better. But I wanted the cash. And for what the pennies I had to spend could buy me, a 182 was one of the best choices.

No plans for it, TBH. Probably the new RS badges is about as far as my imagination will stretch. I prefer it as it is, much like my 197 was.
After the problems I'd had with the 197 I was pretty set that I wanted rid of it - as much as I loved that car, loved how chunky and stable it felt, but I also knew how bad it had been.
I looked for another make, BMW predominantly, but couldn't find one I was happy with and stumbled across...

Came with ContiSport 3's as standard. I'd stick with those all day everyday. Mine have been exceptional!

Mine sits below the half way temperature. I don't think I've ever seen it above that, even after 3/4 hours of driving.
If it's not warm it'll come on before 7 in the higher gears. But regardless you'll feel resistance from the engine anyway at around 2-3k when it's not warm. They won't even...
When the car is fully warm and in the higher gears it'll be about 7-7.5k. In your lower gears it'll be before that. The shift light will come on as Slippers says.
Oh dear. I'd say it's probably f**ked if things have been melting.
Take it to PC world or somewhere if you buy a new one and get them to take all your ASW pics/documents/programmes off for you and it'll be like it never broke... But with a new pooter.
