Disconnected the battery last night and put it on charge through out the night.Connected the battery back up this morning and still the immobiliser light wont go out
So, got in my 172 cup last night, put the key in the ignition to start the car as normal, turned over for 3 seconds and then just stopped, I then notice the immobiliser light is still lit red and solid. Great.
Done a search on here and tried everything suggested but still the red immobiliser...
The piece thats missing is very sort after and is missing from many cliosports. It wont stop you driving your car but salt and mud will eventually corrode the fog light and wiring away.
That piece of plastic is about £50 - £60 + vat from renault

U need to make sure all the air is squeezed out when fitted and use a jubilee clip.
If your unsure ask an adult to help you :p
You should have just fitted a stretchy rubber boot and slided it on with a fitting cone.
Sooooooooo much easier than taking the joint to bits and fitting a rigid boot
Dont know if you know but the door side strips are meant to matt blue instead of a gloss finish like the rest of the door
