£550 for Xenons! No wonder not many 197's had them as an option! lol
For what is called the lux its still pretty bare on what else is available as options!
That leather DOES look nice though!
Chill winst! I wasnt saying it was a bad thing!
I thought about an RS or similar priced cars recently before i used my nugget and got the 197 but it was the difference between being pretty much debt free for few more years or having 4/500 quid a month to pay over the next 3 or 4 years!
It...
High five to one of my few people!
I test drove one thinking like you but suprisingly didnt want one there and then and even more suprisingly used my nugget to think over it even more! Just a shame i couldnt personally justify spending 16k plus on the new model!
I suppose it depends what...
^You can never get a great idea by just 'driving' one imo!
After my TD i had discovered little more than i would've done having sat in it on the forecourt! You need a good few days in one i think!
LOL! There is no bias! As said I would happily have my 182 back as I would the hybrid before that as they were top cars in there own right!
You are correct in saying the 197 isn't as fun but pound for pound it's the better car and with the cup chassis I have no doubts it will be easily as...
Anyone who says the mk3's are not a step up are either liars, cant afford to make the change or havnt driven one but unless your looking for decent build quality and a bigger man'lier feeling car you wont discover this in a test drive!
I loved my 182 for the four years i had it and if i had...
For what it is that LY is a weapon on the straights mate! Make no mistakes about it!
If you ever get side by side i have no doubts it will be at least as good as any standard 182 but then it isnt quite standard itself is it!? ;)
I never did too much in the way of giving it stick but it...
Not nessarily mate as these black Turinis will more than likely be the cup ones and you'll need new tyres which will set you back at least £400! If you get the Trophy ones they are exactly the same size as the 182 wheels (the cup wheels arnt and you'll need spacers/tyres) so you could just...
It was mine Dave! Dunno whos the one is in Sarfend unless your on about me! lol
Looks cracking Piers mate! Will look even better when you get some Matte Black Trophy Turini's or refurb the currents! ;)
Glad she went to an home like yours.
Arguing over Tyres now? LOL
I personally never swayed from the PE2 when i had the 182 as it was a very good tyre and i doubt very much if/when i replace the 197's i will sway from the Contis as they are very good too!
Personally i prefer to keep in with OEM (as Renault didnt go with...
Spec'd up second hand 197 or 200 when you can afford it!
This is the only way i would go.
How much would you have after seeling the 1.2 to buy a 182 out of interest?
Yeah ok.
I rest my case with reference to the above that you would be willing to steal an Honda aerial as the OEM one aint quite up to scratch! lol
Have fun ruining your 200.
Haha i aint mate!
I would've happily taken and paid more for a late 58 plate R27 with 6.5k (or there abouts) on the clock but reality has it that there wasnt any out there on the market! The ones at dealers (presumably the approved cars and best ones) were up at 12/12.5k with alot more miles...
