heard a few people mention it on here but cant seem to find reasons why and or if its worth it.
looking to do it so,
how hard is it?
why is it worth it?
what could go wrong, if anything?
my boot light hasnt worked since i got the car, so last night i changed the bulb.
and
still no light!
it may not bother some but it bothers me as i use my car generally in the evenings and with winter coming, what do i need to check first?
cheers
Now I've recently realised over the next few days I'll have a bit more free time than usual. Question is really, without spending a bomb what would you guys do to your car in a DIY way wether it just be cleaning or fixing annoying rattles or completely stripping?
Whatever I do will get added...
i had an e46 325m sport and loved it. quick, decent mpg, looked great. problems occured when parts broke or services came into play,
if it was me personally, id get the kitchen sorted (as gay as that sounds) get a cup and keep the works van for work.
cars can be had and can come and go. if...
so if one is bought brand new then you dont need to contact anyone (henk) but if you do get one second hand then you need to contact someone (henk again) ?
Now I've searched and read up on this and mines just started making a noise.
Is it a case of a new fan, or can I clean the old one with an air duster and cotton buds? Simple enough to get to and remove the initial big plastic housing, or a ball ache?
Cheers guys
I can hear the pumps engage (first the windscreen then the headlamp) but only one washer works but neither line is blocked
By tw*t of a job do you mean it's complicated or it's just awkward?
Hope this is on the right place, couldn't really see another option.
My question is this, for your headlamp washers is there a pump per line or is there one pump for the 2 lies?
Hope that makes sense, cheers guys
One line works and one doesn't. Tried blowing through them both and an hear the wash in the tank bubbling so lines rant blocked. Do the lines have a pump each Fred? How much are they?
Cheers for your help too
Was replacing a headlight washer today, did one, and went to test them and the new one works fine but the other one doesn't. Now I don't know if this was like this previously or not. There's water running through the lines but no pressure when the jets are squirted!
Car is currently...
Has anyone got any experience with doing the grills black on an iceberg at all? Wondering wether to do it because the grill looks a blue colour which kind of goes with it
so i ordered a new air filter and pollen filter this week from fish brothers (i think)
heres a couple of pics
just some things really to keep it ticking over.
anyone think i should get some original wheels or stick with the 182 ones?
