There are adapters available, a guy on meganesport.net had some made from the states, basically 4x100 - 5x108 spacers.

I used plastx by hand on my rears to remove light swirls and it was fine, for bad marks you could try a ploishing pad on a drill if thats ll you have.

Check the car once warmed up on a cold day, i had a pierce in the top corner that would billow steam at temp and lose the coolant that way, bit of rad weld worked a treat.
