Sounds ace!
Just a tip, ring round and get quotes on how you want the car eventually insurance wise.
I found having lots of mods (carbon bonnet etc etc) + Engine swap = no one wanting to insure you !!
You will be very suprised on how much it will set you back.
I sat and worked out id save...
Thats utter s**t !
I hate people who get away with things like this.....
No doubt if he doesnt pay you the £2 a week, he will be let off.
Will cost you more money to get anything out of him !
TomTom DONT repair you product normally.
They replace it with a refurbished unit. IIRC there will be an "R" on the bottom info area.
Unless they have changed there policy...
(My new unit has not been for repair, but i wud argue if they sent me a damn refurbished unit)
It is supposed to move about so when you close the boot it finds the latch on the other side.
As you know metal expans etc... the boot lid may also move slightly.
If it wasnt loose and you close the boot you may catch it or break the entire thing.
Never had that problem with any of mine before?
I woudl check everythign is seated back correctly, something may have coem undone, or you have not refitted it correctly.
Get it checked properly if your worried as brakes can become lethal if they go wrong.
Bashing components wont generally help in this case!
Trying the spare key is the most sensible option as it costs nothing.
If spare key works its easily diagnosed as un-programmed key on the faulty one.
If that doesnt work then he has to move on to more costly items/diagnostics.....
As mentioned you will need a second feed coming from you LNb (Dish)
Placing ur existing card wont just work, will need to ring Sky to activate the serial number of new box.
They may not activate it as you dont have a Sky + Subscription, which i dont think you can get unless you have the second...
The testing is done by a light meter.
Basicly has a front and back, window goes in between the 2 halfs of the unit.
The light is then produced from 1 side and a reading taken.

Info is here in last paragraph...
It can happen to anything which works in a similar way.
Obviously the key works with a transponder system etc... and is coded to the car.
On odd occasions it can be effected by waves around it lol, how techy.
Resulting it not being prgrammed any more. Happened to me once. Lucky i had spare...
The plip key is expensive.
Most Renault garages only charge a fixed amount to program a key back to the car.
Coventry, Leicster and Warwick charge the £28+VAT for simple key programming.
(Just rang them £10 extra if you wait to have it done lol)
Its the keys that are expensive.
Yer very lucky at the moment!!
Say if you car was torched or something, or somebody hit it while parked up etc...
Or even a simple police stop check.
They will check on mods, already mentioned they will find things! In turn they will try and invalidate any insurance cover you have.
If this...
Mine picked up a few.
But nothing will be 100% effective against mobile vans/ laser traps.
The only effective way is a dedicated laser unit which are expensive.
Alternative is an expensive garage door opener ;)
the actual bumper change is easy it will fit on and secure as normal.
Its just the arch liners that you will have trouble with. Being a different shape bumper slightly they dont simply click back into place as they are not wide enough.
Its a relativly easy mod. Dont forget to tell your...
Yup straight swap, shudnt be long roughly 20-40 mins depending how quick you work.
Get someone to help you so you dont scratch the paint work when you remove bumpers.
Arch liners are optional really, you dont need to put new ones back in. If you want to i advise getting 172 rear ones as there...
