There are a few options. It really depended on how Renautl felt that day lol
1) Rivited on
2) Screwed on
3) Stapled on ! - (industrial staples)
Jack it up, this will give you enough room to play with the underside.
Bumper looks fine up in person.
The yellow is very hard to get a "solid" colour in pictures due to the many angles, especially on the bumper!
Looks sweet :D
Regardless of airbag, the car will still need the pre-tensioner wires connecting.
There is a guide on here how to resolve these issues. Think edde made it?
Best thing i ever got for mine!
Had it in there for 3-4 years now.
Got the Pioneer add on unit.
Hooked up to another antenna in the boot.
Much better choice and sound quality is great. Main reason to get it was to get my fav London stations up in Coventry.
Well worth the "upgrade" ;)
If you have already terminated your contract you have lost your number.....
You have to keep your existing supplier in place until you transfer over to the new company.
You need the PAC code, Porting Authorisation Code. This has to be given to your new supplier and they will get the ball...
They look really smart! Nice job of fittign them in as well.
I think the pics are probably very deceiving. I bet if people were to see this in person they wouldnt be as "bold" in your face.
Top job.....something new :D
Front window from CliopSpares are only £25 dude !
Cheaper then any excess on your insurance.....
Should be covered by your window cover if your fully comp. But will cost you between £50-95 to go through insurance.
**********EDIT*************
Just read you sorted it through insurance :(
Probably the sensible route to go.....
That way if she doesnt drive straight after the repairs you can moan at someone ;)
This list would have gone on:
Airbag
Pre-tensioner(s)
Airbag Computer
Side Impact Sensor?
Alloys
Tyres
Seat Leather Covering
Suspension Parts
Tracking
Some units need an additional feed to the battery for the internal amp.
NOT ALL.
So check this in the manual, it will mention it specificly. If it does not, no need for it :D
As mentioned above a very costly output!
There are numerous things that will need to be changed to get the car safe again.
Then ontop of all that, you may have damaged the suspension etc.... this will obviously will need to be looked at.
Minimum of £500 worth of parts are needed roughly.
Just make sure you are usign the right process to enter the code. Number 6 button needs a long press to enter it.
1) Any Renault garage can get the code - £35 tho !
2) Better off finding a website/company that does them. £10 or if your lucky theres a company on ebay for £5 (but you need to...
Its also a big list to hit the Insurance Company with !!
Check how much it will put your insurance up before you start buying bits...
1) Cost of getting parts
2) Getting them sprayed
3) Insurance Premium
Could well end up being a big whack!
Not much point in a Vee as you say?
They are nice seats! very comfy too :D
Go for the cheaper option? Being as you wont see the backs once there in place.
The reason they show this is becase the airbag is a safety feature.
If your car is fitted with them then it makes up part of the Safety NCAP Test Ratings.
Your insurance cover premium takes this into account.
If you remove an airbag, pre-tensioner, crumple zones etc.....
You MUST inform...
Gave them a bell the other day.
Just the seats on the site come to £1050
With discount + frames + resistors and free delivery they still come to £1295 not bad tho :D
You have to use your own Renault lower mounts + pre-tensioners.
