A guy at work bought 4 2gig ones for a trip to thailand from amazon all 4 were fakes. He wasn't impressed.

Be careful buying from amazon, the extreme 3 mem cards are sold through resellers and some have been reported to be selling fakes. I buy mine from play.com for pretty much the same price with free delivery usually.

If your removing it once a year just put lots of copper grease on there.

It does look quite good. Some out door images and varying degrees of zoom would be cool. I've just switched over to Nikon and looking for lenses.

People pay thousands to get their monitor colours to be caliberated with their printers. It's better just to print a photo to see how it looks then tweak to your tastes.

A guy at work had one. It kept breaking down with a fuel pump problem. Could only be taken to certain dealers as well because no one knew how to fix them. My 172 with limiter raised does 60 easily in second, never taken it to the new limiter as the power has started to tail off by then.

Size of teh 350d was the only issue it was too small for my hands, but i'd planned to buy the additional battery grip anyway which made the camera the perfect weight and size.

I had 3 2gig Extreme 3's before. The first one I paid about £50 for the other 2 cost £17 from Play.com. They had all been used a lot and never had a single corrupt image.

I've always bought Canon, until now. I've been seduced by the d300. Its swings and roundabouts. Go to a camera store and see which feels better in your hands.
