Be careful buying from amazon, the extreme 3 mem cards are sold through resellers and some have been reported to be selling fakes.
I buy mine from play.com for pretty much the same price with free delivery usually.
I'd pay extra,as I did for 2006. But you must make sure that the catering is up to scratch and that there is food available throughout lunchtime. Get it wrong this time and I'm sure there shall be a fair few that won't be returning.

People pay thousands to get their monitor colours to be caliberated with their printers. It's better just to print a photo to see how it looks then tweak to your tastes.
A guy at work had one. It kept breaking down with a fuel pump problem. Could only be taken to certain dealers as well because no one knew how to fix them.
My 172 with limiter raised does 60 easily in second, never taken it to the new limiter as the power has started to tail off by then.

Is your 80-200 f2.8 the AFD version?
Would you go for the 2x or 1.4x convertor. I'm unsure if I need the extra reach of 2x. Have you ever been at track and wished you could zoom in further?

Size of teh 350d was the only issue it was too small for my hands, but i'd planned to buy the additional battery grip anyway which made the camera the perfect weight and size.
I had 3 2gig Extreme 3's before. The first one I paid about £50 for the other 2 cost £17 from Play.com. They had all been used a lot and never had a single corrupt image.

I've always bought Canon, until now. I've been seduced by the d300.
