I would love this. No doubt when things started to go wrong, it would make the mortgage on a 10-bedroom mansion seem cheap.
But - just to have it until then! :blush...
Probably what's started to creak on mine in this last week or so. I'll get them done at the next service along with the TREs and ball-joints. Just a shame there's no urgency for the engine to come out!
No worries.
If you find a genre that you like, it's scary just how much it will pull you in and time simply vanishes. I'm a big fan of Larry Bond's Harpoon series (http://www.matrixgames.com/products/325/details/Larry.Bonds.Harpoon.-.Commanders.Edition) and used to play a lot of the...
How in-depth do you actually want to go?
Some of the SSI/Matrix Games titles are serious heavy-hitters - but these are aimed for pure strategy first, looks and feel second. Titles such as War in the Pacific : Admiral's Edition -...
M1 Tank Platoon, back in the halcyon days of Microprose and the Amiga! Played that through and through - getting each crew in each tank of my platoon up to elite status. Multiple times!
Other than that, I used to be fairly good with the tanks in BF2142 - especially the hover tank.
These days...
Are you on about the tapered ring that goes with the hub bearing? It's essential that you get that the correct way around or else the life of the new bearing will be a LOT shorter.
Flol! I actually went through the majority of my library the other week and there were several games that I had zero knowledge of owning.
I think the majority come from the Humble Bundle offers - where you get 5 to 7 games when you actually only want 1 or 2.
That should never exist with an online FPS game. Why not just press 'X' on FIFA to score every time you're in the box? Or hold down the right trigger when approaching a bend in Forza - which makes the car follow the perfect line through the apex?
I have slight piss-rage when I see aim assist in...
Nice one chaps!
It's a shame that the weakest part of the entire CoH2 'pack' - is the initial Soviet campaign. Don't let it put you off - try to stick with it if you can, because it really is a true gem of an RTS game.
Once you get to the German and American campaigns, it really does...
15s work really well on these imo, so long as you've got a corresponding drop in ride height. I really liked them on mine when I borrowed a set.
I suspect you might have the standard struts - even with 15s, it does look a little high.
A set of Eibach Sportlines will work wonders on there. On...
Hi Steve,
Are you down in Plymouth by any chance? That backdrop looks familiar?
Yeah, not a fan of the wheels myself, unfortunately - they 'cheapen' the look of it, if I can be so bold? Are they 15s as well as there appears to be a fair amount of arch gap - or is it not on the Cup Pack...
Don't forget to de-grease the inside rim of your alloy too. If it's dumped the lot in a short space of time, the splatters on the inside will translate as vibration/slight woble through the steering wheel.
I've cleaned mine over the years. Simple warm water, some Fairy liquid and a cheap sponge...
I used to have the opposite. The amount of times I'd spawn near one or two squad mates and as I'm selecting the ammo pouch, they've already ran off.
I'm legging it after them down a hill or something, shouting at the screen for them to "f**king stop" and take the ammo. Inbreds.
Reinstalled it...
That last point you said is making it more difficult for me to part with it. Especially from a financial perspective - it would be struggling to represent a deposit on a new car!
But it's the fact I've been everywhere with it. Down to the south coast, the northern tip of Scotland, blats through...
Still my daily driver too
Thanks for the kind words chaps - I do try to look after it. Anything it needs, it gets. I tend to go for earlier than planned maintenance schedules at Birchdown, as well.
If something randomly failed catastrophically with it - then, meh, s**t happens. But...
Knowing that yesterday was overcast and warm, I thought it was a good opportunity to give the 182 some cleaning TLC. It hadn't seen the Porta Cable in probably a good 5+ years, so it was in desperate need of it.
There are still some tar deposits on it - the clay bar ended up being disgusting...
Same here. But then I use the oil spray on it afterwards. Rather than get your hands coated in the stuff as well, I normally chuck the freshly cleaned filter into a carrier bag and spray into the bag. Then just keep squeezing and kneading it until it's properly covered.
All,
