Lol - looks similar in dimensions to the Zotac 1080 I installed in my nephew's PC. That thing actually started to bend under its own weight on the overhang. Managed to cable-tie it straight - looks awful, but does the job.
Yep - similar to mine. Definitely worse in the drier/warmer weather. That said, I pulled into the Shell station in Darwen on the way to work this morning and it was creaking badly.
Pretty much 101% convinced it's steering rack area related. As others have said in this thread - that's going to...
Used to play a lot of the old PGA Tour games on the Amiga and Links 386 Pro (that's showing my age - lol!). I've never really enjoyed them much since - I think the swing mechanics (and putting especially) has definitely taken a backwards step.
If you're still in Blackburn - I'd love to meet up and know if the noise is the same as mine!
Hopefully getting it sorted on the next trip down to Birchdown.
I could mentally justify myself to have an Avantime. The Vel Satis? I think that's just a step too far. Maybe.
That said, the next time I pulled into a supermarket amongst a ocean of Audi and Nissan metal - I'd like to see the reaction of the massed sheep, when I stepped out of that.
"Yep...
I think it's the faffing about trying to output the screen image that will be a bit of a ballache these days. Having the HDMI out of this new console will be a major bonus!
Thanks @andy_coops for the total lack of pre-warning coming into this thread. Almost NSFW material.....!
And Nissan...... this is what Nismo should be adorned upon. Not those spunk-mop Juke abortions for buyers who haven't got a frigging clue.
Still cracks me up that the same creative genius...
Apparently they are more 'profitable' to have a set period of time where all the discounted titles are on offer. I'm with you though - I much preferred the flash & daily sales method.
Btw - anyone considering the rather excellent Steam Link - they are currently down to £11.99. Unfortunately...
Not really sure m8! I bought it purely for a technical reason in that it was one of the first dedicated DX12 titles and would have been good for benchmarking my quad-SLi system.
Needless to say, it ran like crap with a lot of eye-candy turned off. Once I put the single 1080 in, all was fine...
Thanks @Rojer - it's my daily, but its fair to say that I drive it fairly enthusiastically. As speed is pretty much pointless these days with cameras, traffic, and so on - I'm much more focused on keeping the handling in good form. And being over twelve years old now, there are going to be parts...
Has anyone got any experience of the full Powerflex handling pack?
https://www.powerflex.co.uk/road-series/product-details/Powerflex+Handling+Pack/11789.html
Is it over-priced/not much use? Or really worth the money for refreshing the tired bushes?
Cheers,
D.
Years back, I grew wary of upcoming bills. made worse by the stuff you can't plan for like punctures, etc. I took the decision to have a standing order that put £250 per month into a separate account - mainly to create a pot for any car-related funds to be drawn from. It saved me a few times...
Rear shocks are very easy to replace yourself - is the one that's leaking banging away as you drive along?
OEM driveshafts are a whole different level of expensive. I bought a set direct from Renault probably about 18 months ago now. They had a cash-back offer for returning the old shafts...
It's kind of what I like/despise about Nintendo.
They give zero phucks about pretty much everything as they know the hardcore faithful will buy it regardless - along with sales from the weird taste in gaming that exists solely within Japan. They could release "Mario Fists Badgers" and it would...
I know what you mean. I fired up the Test Range to make sure I had my sensitivity and keys mapped correctly and it 'felt' right. Scoping up was slick and direct - and best of all - I could select the weapons using the mouse scroll wheel.
My god DICE. Who would have EVER thought that would fall...
After the recent format of the PC, I've spent what seemed to be a considerable amount of time in getting BF1 and BF4 back downloaded.
I tried BF1 (again) and my interest waned after about 20 minutes. I just hope the next BF game doesn't follow the same model as this.
Quite keen in getting...
I didn't find Rally too overly difficult, tbh. Sure, to get super fast times were tricky, but it was quite easy to get with the flow using a straight-forward 360 pad, for me.
It was using a wheel that I struggled with - lol.
Three rotor - so not RX-7 stock lump (aside from the insane turbocharger bolted on as well) - but far more entertaining that the Stephen Hawking in a fish tank video I posted earlier....
Just need sound and fast forward to about 4.40...
The worry would be an intrinsic part of the ownership experience. Imagine being able to have one though and shrug your shoulders at an engine rebuild. Must be great!
There's nothing like it though. Twin rotors, twin turbos. Unique noise. Similar thirst to something much higher in capacity. It...
