Again depends on the brand but probably around £100 for a kit and cold air feed. A kit should include the 90' bend and some include the heat shield. I've not seen inside a PH1 non-sport engine bay but you might get away with positioning it somewhere where heat won't be a big issue.
A cone will allow more air in so will make it sound beefier. If you use a cone it would be a good idea to get a head shield and if you have more money then a cold air feed so it sucks in cold air from outside instead of warm air from engine bay (causing a performance decrease).
I've got an induction kit and the noise it makes is awesome. I didn't notice a performance decrease and IMO it actually made it feel more responsive.. ofc that could just be the psychological effect.
Will be stripping mine out soon and getting some lighter wheels and a SS catback and decat...
Multi-touch is Apple technology that the iPhone/iPod touch/new MacBooks use. It allows for more than one finger to be used on the trackpad at once and has gestures like "swiping" or "pinching" which do various things. Pretty cool.
Word of warning.. we got the new AFS (Apple Financial Services)...
I'd go for the last option too.
If you want rattle cans then you can go to Renault who will charge stupid amounts, or go to Halfords. They might have it already mixed but if not just go to the service counter and give them manufacturer and code and £11.99 later you have a can.
At first it's a real b*tch to get the old one out, but as soon as the first couple clips are out it's easy. 10 mins if you're lucky.. For me it was 10 minutes of trying to get the clips undone, then a cuppa and finally 10 mins actually doing it. :P
I've always had mine right down.. just prefer it there.
When I clipped the bulbs in I knocked it off of the adjuster, but it clipped back on and there is no movement so it's where it was before.
Just thought there may be a way to manually adjust the lights further.
Fitted some new bulbs from Halfords the other day (buy one get one free) but they seem to be a lot higher than the old ones. Whether or not this is simply because they're brighter and light up more or not I don't know.
It's the passenger side which I know sits a little higher anyway as to light...
Have considered all the options such as 60mm springs, 60mm springs and shocks, and coilovers but ideally want 70mm front and 60mm rear with new shocks.
I've had a quick look this morning but can't find anything so thought I'd post up and see what others have done?
Have seen the Highsports GB...
Fed up with the rattles now so hopefully going to jump in the back of the car and sort it out tomorrow. Only problem is I don't know what to remove!
Have searched but can't find a guide or anything on how to get into the rear panels to put sound deadening in... Will the inside just clip off...
Hm didn't think of using another light.
I had some old PC cold cathodes laying around so I snipped off the molex connection, took out the bulb from the holder, placed the + and - of the cathodes in the bulb holder and put the bulb back.
Done the job for a while.. took it out though as it...
As I was pulling into Ladymead saw a silver Clio coming out. Didn't look for stickers and can't remember but think it was a PH2 172... was too busy trying to work out what you were saying to your lady friend after pointing at my yelow badges!
Then as I was coming out saw a 1.4 PH1 but was...
60mm looks great - need to order the kit myself soon.
Lower does look cool, but you also start running into problems when it gets lower. Do a search for 60mm and I'm sure you'll find loads of pics.
Hm, do you mean the light in the ash tray?
Interesting..
Edit - if that is the case (I'll test it in a mo' too) then sorted. Will try and do it tonight. :)
Well my choice is either wire it to the same power source so whenever the electrics are on it's lit up, or wire it to that and also to the lights so it's on, but only lit up when the dash board lights up.
May just do that though.. wont be hard to change.
Switch was considered for a second but...
