Has anybody had experience with wiring things into the dashboard lights so that they are powered whenever lights are on?
To be more specific, I have a volt gauge that I only want lit up when the rest of the lights are on.
Matt.
Sorted! Just needed a dads touch lol..
Took out the motor and he was like "hmmm...", put a finger in around the bulb and clipped it back on. It was the ball joint. He soon unclipped it by accident though and realised how I done it in the first place - really easy to unclip.
So yeah - sorted...
Got some new sidelight and dipped beam bulbs today and when I was fitting the non-drivers side sidelight I heard a click and the whole thing moved forward.
Whilst holding the bulb holder I can move the inside of the cluster up and down now..
Jumped in the car and used the adjusting dial to try...
Do I have to get a cat specifically from my model or would I be able to find one from other models? Are the cats from the sports different? Can I buy the flanges on their own?
:(
Have had a look but can't see any for mine. :(
Will cost next to nothing for me to get a pipe welded to the flanges so I'll go for that. Need a donor cat though either way! Keeping mine "just in case".
I'm having second thoughts on this and might just go for a full SS system. Too much trouble to get it working and then getting it through MOT.
Will just save a bit more and go for a 182 look exhaust or something I think...
Ps. Not been under the car so I don't know about the lambda, but pretty...
A mate of mine said he'll be able to sort me out with a decat pipe onto a backbox I've got laying around. I know I won't get power from it, but I love the sound this box made on my bro's car and want to get it fitted.
He said all I need is an old cat so he can take the flanges off and weld onto...
Some pics of the maganes would be great. :)
Can't imagine it being that hard.. all depends on what you wire it to for power and on/off.
Will look further into it. :)
This is a shared hostname and will direct to you the user folder on the FTP.
You should have either a 123-reg subdomain or a TLD to access the files through the browser. Either you would have requested one to be registered for you with the package, or you are wanting to transfer the old domain...
Just a random thought, but are there any laws against exterior lighting in the way of a few LEDs behind the Renault diamond, so it glows around the edges slightly?
That and... would it look tacky? I'm thinking yes, but unless someone else has tried it I might have to do it just to see how it...
RAM is a user-serviceable part and is very easy to change. Hard drive will void your warranty if you attempt to change it (though that's not hard either) but an external drive will be fine as Jaykay said.
Just to let you know, there are rumors of a new iMacs being released before the xmas...
