Just went outside work and noticed this in a space there. Worked here nearly 3 years and never seen it before but I'm sure I recognise the plate.
Anyone here? No CS sticker but worth a shot...
Last time I took the rear of my car out it looked stupid as it was high in the first place... Does anyone know roughly (or exactly! lol) how much of a difference it makes to the height?
Reason being I'm looking to get slightly shorter springs in the back and stripping it again so it looks...
That's what I expected :(
As for exhaust mounts.. where it's sitting isn't a problem I'd just prefer it to be different but didn't want to mess around if it's gonna change again. I'll keep it as it is for now anyway.
Cheers.
Looking to get a sport bumper soon but was wondering if they are differently sized at all due to exhaust...
Currently I think my exhaust sits a little too low and too far out. Is it likely that swapping for a sport bumper will still have the same problem or do they sit lower, further out, etc...
More details? Are you needing the backend of this done too or are you simply (from what I understand) passing details form one form to another? Post/get?
Getting tyres done from my local place who are next to the garage I bought the car from who are next to the mot center I'm booked in at for 3.30 today :) lol
Wow that was quick lol.
Cool so I might leave work at lunch, get my some new tyres fitted (one is very low) then try get an MOT this afternoon. Tracking can wait 'til the weekend.
Thanks.
It's been a year already and my first MOT is due very soon. I was planning on getting my new exhaust done this weekend (including a decat) so I need to get the MOT done before then.
Before phoning around does anyone know if it's easy to get an MOT for the same day?
Got a cat now rather than going down the "make one from scratch" route.
However, there's nothing to it! It would have been a hell of a lot easier if I got under the car and had a PROPER look because I probably could have made one up with the help of a friendly welder.
May have a go still just...
My car doesn't have an alarm and I'd like one just for peace of mind really. Not bothered about it lowering the insurance so a cheap one will do fine for me.
Anyway, question is... Could I buy a 2nd hand alarm from an RS and wire it into the 1.2 with my key working to set the alarm or would I...
Obviously considered (and still considering) buying a 2nd hand cat and either smashing the insides or getting a mate to cut it weld some pipe but wondered if there's anywhere I could get one made from scratch?
I've looked for exhaust places near to me but none seem to suggest they would make a...
Got this in the play.com email and ordered one. Could do with handsfree and the fact that it's solar powered (and cheap) helps.

Looked at a few reviews and the only bad point is that it would attract thieves, but it can...
Mine does this too. If you tap the throttle, you can get your foot off the pedal before it does anything :s
Believe it's because it's electronic (but it's normal)...
When I done mine I sanded down so all the shine had gone (did go through the paint in places), primed it, primed it again, sprayed, sanded down very slightly as it had a bug on it, sprayed, sprayed, lacquered, lacquered, lacquered.
:)
Edit - I left about 30 mins between coats and a couple...
