The rear disks are poor quality imo. Ive already had one set rust all the way through and snap. And the rust patch round the edge is normal. Its just because the pads dont cover the whole area of the disk.
Well I think you are onto a ban if the police pursue the dangerous driving route. IIRC its 6 points and if you get that number of points within 3 years of your test you lose your licence and have to resit it. An expensive lesson on the undeclared mods too I think.

It was me! My g/f lives on the south side so I stopped for a mcflurry! Got spotted again! Anyway my car is almost back to full health now, appart from a dented bonnet courtesy of renault.

Its back from the garage but hasnt been cleaned as I asked and they have dented the bonnet where they closed it. After a bit of arguing the service manager is going to take the dents out and hopefully get the oil off the underneath of the car.

Maybe they just did mine up finger tight, and forgot to tighten it fully. just hope the engine hasnt been damaged but it shouldnt be with the amount of oil pouring out of it when it was switched off!
