I have had a cable ties on both my shafts for the last 6 years and there fine The clips in the cv boots kits are crap Stop worrying, if its thin cable ties your using use heavy duty cable ties. Wheel trim ones are fine

Unlikely iphone5 will be out any time soon. First speculation was end of june/early july but after the earthquake in japan its looking likely it will be anytime from september right up to christmas. If you want a iphone4, get one. Its gunna be a long wait for the 4gs/5/5g

Oh right, I knew someone who had a replacement joint a few years ago but the cost wasn't much less than a new shaft. But correct a new shaft is Renault only but u would have to be retarded to pay 150-200 quid for a brand new shaft when you can get a perfectly good second hand unit off someone...

People sell second hand shafts on here for £30-£50 so ask people who are breaking there cars in the classifieds section

You can replace the cv joint but it would be far far easier just to fit a second hand shaft and it would probably be cheaper Unfortunately with it being the passenger side shaft you will have to drain the gearbox of all it's oil first before removing the shaft

2 tips for removing oil filters 1, borrow your mums marigold gloves, the rubber will give you 500% more turning grip if you can get ya hand on the filter 2, knock a screw driver into the filter and then use the handle on the screw driver to turn the filter, yhis is the messy option both...

Sounds like limp home mode. Disconnect the battery and press brake pedal a few times. Reconnect battery in the morning and it should be fine
