know how u feel mate, my car was up on axle stands when i was fitting my engine, and some little b*****d decided to go up both sides of the car (bearing in mind this is on a private rear access road, and my car is on the driveway)
We have CCTV up there aswell, and its sickening seeing him do...
youll have to fiddle about with jacking the hub/arm up and down a bit, so that the splines line up properly on the bar, but it should go in without too much trouble.
im not sure on the difference, thats just what ive been told in the past.

Thats for the open torsion bar. Mine was a closed bar
With the closed one, you jack up the hubs, not the rear arms
take it elsewhere, and get another MOT garage to test it.
But before doing so, make sure you go for a thrash to warm the car and oil up properly.
high lambda is usually caused by the mixture being either too lean (i doubt) or the exhaust has a hole in it, or clamps arent done up tight...
do it... whether its for looks, or you want to improve the headlights at night.
so much better than the standard ones that are seriously pants at night.
i did this for a mate in his car... had to use a proper automotive relay thou, as its quite high current.
just a simple split charge system

christ i thought my bodyshop took the piss when it took them 3 months to do my car (1 month of that was my fault as i lost my job, didnt have the cash to pay them)
To spend that amount of money, and for them to take this long to do that sortof work is a pisstake.
i wouldve told them to...
the seats werent designed to hold you in, as you can tell, theyre just the cheap type of seats that you sit on.
youd be better off getting the seats out of an rsi/16v etc as theyre more supportive
nobody wants to see your shopping list on your car lol.
i personally think theyre ghey. even gheyer if you have stickers like HKS, Greddy etc on a non turbo car
id say so...
sounds like youve cooked em nicely lol

Not that ive ever seen blue brake discs, but ive seen metal thats been heated up too much which has turned a blue colour

Thats all you need, should stop alot of engine movement :)
Also do the dogbone mount trick... knock the rubber out of the mount, and turn it 90 degrees to what it was, certainly stiffens it up :)

bummer mate :( god knows why, its a great car, and i know its had alot spent on it
ouch, couldve saved alot of money there.
New suspension kits are only around the 200 mark, calipers shouldve been fine but if not then theres plenty of people with old 1.2/1.4 calipers etc (i have a set as i upgraded to the 16v setup) pads are cheap enough, and easy to fit.
Still, i wont...
i dont think youll ever find a HU that will control the iRiver as such, but you can get alot of HUs that have an aux in, that way you just run a 3.5mm stereo jack from the iRiver to the 2 photo plugs on the back of the HU.
lol :D well if it doesnt last long enough, ill mod it so i can use a step down transformer and just use it like that...
still for 30 quid, dont think you can really go wrong... but as said, you prob get what u pay for.
I think this is the same one as the Megs cordless, but not half as...

it wouldnt have taken a photo of you going towards it, as the flash can startle you and could cause an accident...
only usually happens when a gatso is out of film
