    AlexW's Driveway Antics :)

That will still cause a yellow ish light due to the orange filter. Not good enough for me! Yesterday I had this little thing turn up. Fitted, looks bloody tiny. Picking up a proper plug for it today if I get chance. It's only for the aircon, as the coolant temp has never ever got above...

The bit visible from the engine bay? Yes. If there was no gap, you're steering would be bloody heavy.

    Power steering reservoir

I think its because its not something anybody needs to worry about really, whereas fluid obviously needs the level checking.

    Clio V6 MK1 or MK2??

I've always prefered the Ph2 V6, Ph1's are special, but not as much. That Ph2 would take some work to return it to standard properly, vents in front bumper, that spoiiler and a few other bits.

Just removed the washers from under the seat (cool story bro thread)

Depending on the exhaust you have fitted, it can be a little tight, but easily done!

Just removed the washers from under the seat (cool story bro thread)

All underneath, two near the sill under rubber grommits and two in the exhaust tunnel. I did this on mine recently, but didn't bother with putting replacement washers in, lovely and low and still slides easily.

Top work man. Finally getting the love it deserves. Are you going to get a new rad? I have a couple of good condition used ones you're welcome to cheap. I bet it drives a lot better now, both powerwise and handling with that front end sorted.

Pulley Locking Tool - What Goes Where?

Sweet! It'll be as good as it looks then. I did see the exhaust, did look like a proper bodge job, sounded alright considering.

    Random hose in wheel arch?

As above, drain/vent for battery. It shoudl just be clipped to the arch liner IIRC that end.

    Starter motor heat shield

I was going to say, it won't have wrecked the wiring that quickly. Get a replacement shield on there though, as it can cause pre-mature starter failure.

    Inferno Rivenhall & 197 F1 Takeley Today

Only caught a glimse of the Inferno, was busy doing a job this morning and just caught a bright orange Clio in the corner of my eye and quickly swung round to see a 182 flying past. and a 197 F1 through takeley this evening, was too out of it to wave.

Pulley Locking Tool - What Goes Where?

I use the flywheel mark to get the crank pin location. Get it where I think it is roughly using the cams and then find the mark on the flywheel, line it up with the bell housing mark before slipping in the locking pin. Faxo I was looking forward to doing the belt & dephaser on that car due to...

    Eibach Camber Bolts

Tracking will wear the tyres 10x faster than Camber. I'd rather have a tiny tiny amount of tyre wear for the improved feel of the car with camber.

Pure Motorsport Top mounts - Preloaded bearings questions.

So I've had some Pure Motorsport solid top mounts on my daily DCi since November (Circa 20k miles) and I've recently noticed some odd noises from the front suspension. Had a few bits off tonight and noticed I have a visable amount of movement in the bearing (up/down mostly) so looks like I'm due...
