So I've had some Pure Motorsport solid top mounts on my daily DCi since November (Circa 20k miles) and I've recently noticed some odd noises from the front suspension. Had a few bits off tonight and noticed I have a visable amount of movement in the bearing (up/down mostly) so looks like I'm due replacement bearings.
However, I had the standard bearings when I purchased to start with, is it worth going for the pre-loaded bearings?
I believe these cause heavier steering, which tbh I'd quite like as I find the standard EPAS a little light sometimes.
Car is used daily, but also does about 10 trackdays a year.
Any advice is much appreciated
