Post cat lambda on the way out/loose connection on knock sensor or just a change in the type of fuel.
My cup has done this when changing from sainburys to shell fuel.
My car ran fine with this light on.
PM me if you want to use my RStuner to check the fault.
Change it as soon as you can, if it is given false readings then it's possible that it could cause your flat spot. A specialist can confirm exactly what the lambda is telling the ecu to do. Fuelling problems are unlikely to do the cat any good.
Change it and see if you notice an improvement...
I had this and and air temp sensor fault, i gave the knock sensor connector a wiggle and the fault has cleared. I have ordered a sensor just in case it comes back. I'm not familiar with the ph1, but i'm sure it will be something similar. Hopefully someone with a ph1 can confirm that the sensors...
Have you serviced the car lately, you may have dislodged one of the wires on the knock sensor as it is next to the oil filter?
Try reaching under the fuel rail guard and giving the wires a push, i think it is a brown connector with a red and white wire. If you take the airbox out you may be...
Fastchip may not be supplying new tuners, but i'm sure that Henk is enough of a gentlemen to support currents users with unlock codes and rst and cal files.
It really is a great mod that i really hope doesn't disappear completely. Imagine how many mails Henk will get now, asking about the...
Rob,
You can buy mine if you want, it is V 1.8, so you can't do pops and bangs. It is the best mod i have done to the car so far, it would be a real shame if it were not available to other forum users as there are not many worthwhile mods for such a low price. I think it is all you really need...
Rob,
The equipment is good, you can really feel the results. The service is a little erratic, i could not get an answer about which maps to use, and tried politely for over a week. This was very frustrating.
Then i was helped by Riley, bought the maps online, downloaded them within 5 minutes...
My car is running -1.0 with standard bolts, i thinking this is down to the amount the front has been lowered. I used bolts when it was running -2.5. Worth buying a set for £20 and having them with you. Most geo places will charge more than this for them, if you don't need them, then just sell...
I have run -2.5 on the road and found it too light at speed and too twitchy. You had to have very steady steering inputs. The turn in was incredible, it was hard to believe it was the same car after fitting camber bolts.
I am now running -1.0 and it is a good compromise, but it could do with...
Henk,
I have repeatedly asked you for help, Riley has been kind enough to offer me some support, even if he pasted the wrong link.
He then rectified the mistake and i have now paid for what i believe to be the correct file, cal 172 8200 5411 1110 RON98, from your website.
I appreciate that...
Henk,
Can you explain the correct method for doing this please, to eliminate all confusion surrounding the 7300 software.
Can you tell everyone exactly which .rst and .cal files are needed please.
Thank you very much Riley, can a mod please make this a sticky.
It has taken me about a week to get to this stage. It will help a alot of frustrated 7300 owners out.
I have just connected my rs tuner and trying to find the right .rst and .cal files, my ecu has given me these details.
Part Number: 8200326770
Program number: 00E5
Hardware Version: 8200326733
Software version: 7300
Calibration version: 5E10
Diagnose version: 09...
If you have fitted an aftermarket steering wheel and cannot get the SERV and airbag lights to go out, check the passenger side grab handle airbag switch connector.
I have a sabelt wheel, fitted 3.3ohm resistors, lights still present, i then checked all the connections under the seats and they...
I guess we all have different tolerances and sensitivities to certain frequencies.
The exhaust had covered 3.5K before i fitted it, whether they are quieter from new, i do not know.
If i did more urban driving then i too would consider it quiet, i don't notice it when on a B road with...
Having driven with this exhaust for another day, I can say it is slightly louder than oem at town speeds and completely acceptable to me for urban driving.
I am finding it hard to live with when sitting at 3750 rpm at top on the motorway; you can reduce the noise by applying the slightest...
Sorry yes, clio went crabbing at roundabout, fred seems to be some kind of cyborg from the future. Cyborg does not get up earlier than 10am though and BTM is changing its name to cyberdyne systems, special discount on skynet suspension system with cats p!ss gearbox oil.
Report on Fred's fitment...
Fred fitted this exhaust for me today, these are my observations:
The mid section silencer could be smaller, I think the yozza mid section I saw was a better design, the cylindrical shape is more pleasing to an engineering eye.
The tig welding is to a high standard
It is very...
