get a wireless mouse which uses a usb dongle.
when they go on lunch stick the usb dongle into the back of their pc.
when they come back off lunch watch them log on and then start moving the wireless mouse about.
it is so amusing watching them trying to work out what is going on.
this will only have a chance of working if you are being shaped only on specific apps such as p2p, not if you are being shaped on http traffic.

i can only assume you are right, cos i just ran a stress test on the cpu and while the test is running the multiplier sticks at 7 and then when i stop the test the multiplier drops down to 6 again.
i have a c2d 6300.
i have clocked it to 2.53ghz.
when i run cpu-z i can see my multiplier and it keeps changing between 6 and 7, so sometimes the processor is running at 2.16ghz, and then it jumps up to 2.52ghz, and then drops down again.
anyone got any clues?
i have a divx box pretty similar to that, except it takes a 2.5" drive.

depends what your line is like. trust me, running a load balanced bonded solution on a DSL MAX service if you have poor line stats is a bad idea. you will also need at least a cisco router with dual wick, and tbh depending on what you are gonna be doing with 60 machines i'd recommend bonding 4...
