i actually have a widescreen dell 24" monitor (2407wfp). it has vga, dvi, composite, svideo, and component inputs.
obviously being foremost a monitor it does a much higher resolution than a tv (1920x1200), although my 360 runs at 1920x1080 through the vga cable.
yes, i have got both cables.
mine looks 10x better with vga than it does with component, but other people find the opposite.
i think at the end of the day it depends on your tv.
XFX GeForce 7950 GX2 M520 1GB DDR3 PCI-Express Extreme Edition
or
XFX GeForce 8800GTS 640Mb DDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card (Dual DVI Outputs) - 500Mhz version - DirectX 10 Compatible
they are both practically the same price.
which should i go for?
lol, sounds like me.
i have a 360 with 5 games and i don't think i've played on it for more than a total of 4 hours.
i just don't have time, and can think of better things to be doing, and also i have a really really short attention span.
tbh people like you make me laugh.
you want to download stuff which you won't have to pay for, yet you won't pay out the £18 a year for something like newsleecher with supersearch.
roffle @ you.
okay, i basically have a phillips dect 122. it was just a cheapo one i bought to go with my router so i could use the voip side of things cordlessly. anyone know if the 122 is gap compatible?
i have a main unit already that is plugged into my voip setup.
basically i want another handset to go with my original base unit.
can i just buy any other dect handset no matter what make and model, or do i need to buy the same make as i already have?
cheers.
personally in my bedroom i have the 24" dell 2407, which was the best part of £600 when i bought it, so no, i wouldn't buy crap if i lived with my parents and my bedroom was my lounge. i was more implying that if i owned my own house and had a nice tv in the lounge then i'd go for a cheaper tv...
if i have a tv in my room i wouldn't be inclined to spend the best part of a grand which is the kind of price i'd look at paying if it was in my lounge.
edit again - i did read it right.
that isn't what he needs.
that is a NIC.
he wants something to share the usb scanner and printer between all 4 pc's without tieing the scanner or printer down to only being able to be used when a certain machine is on.
or that's the way i understood it...
an ISP basically has to rent pipes from bt to take data from their network on the BT's backbone.
nowadays each pipe is 622mb, although they used to be 155mb, and some isp's still have a mix of the 2.
a 622mb pipe with a 1:1 contention ratio would only cater for about 77 customers (if each...
