How low on raceland coilovers can you go?...

Lower ball joint pinch bolt just spins

Yeah I properly confused people as I was doing the nut up in the video. Aluco is exactly right, the nut just spins without traveling up or down the bolt, I have ordered a nut cracker to get it off.

Lower ball joint pinch bolt just spins

Is there any tool that will help me get the nut off without having to remove everything? I have a new bolt to go on. EDIT: Does anybody have experience if using these...

Lower ball joint pinch bolt just spins

Got round to changing the lower ball joints, and I get stuck at the first bolt. The nut on the pinch bolt just spins, is there any way round this than taking the whole hub off and cutting the bolt off?

    Toyo T1-R's

To be fair I don't get anywhere near the limits of handling so I'm the wrong person to judge (I just like to accelerate quickly), but for me they do a good job. They never put me in any dangerous situations like budget tyres have for me in the past.

    Toyo T1-R's

Damn I like these! Is it anything to do with new noise regulations or just a new 'model' being introduced?

    Ball Joint Splitter = Necessary?

Going to be doing both ball joints in a few days and wondering if a ball joint splitter is necessary or should I be fine with a long fat screwdriver?

If you didn't use NGK plugs then this could well be the problem. EDIT: Sorry, didn't see your second post.

Phase 1, Phase 2 exhaust question

Basically you will only have problems if you have a single lambda cat, which most Phase 1's (but NOT all) have. All Phase 2's are single lambda. They made double barrel cats in both single and double lambda format, thankfully its very easy to spot by looking under the car. Twin lambda cats are...

Can i afford clio sport insurance??

You must be able to get better than that! When I was 19 I insured a Williams for £800! Using Money Supermarket? Confused.com and a few others never get me the best price, also add at least one parent as a named driver, legal and saves over £100 for me. Yep.

    Service History

I can't help you with the legal side of things, but seeing as it came from a Renault garage you must have paid quite a bit for it on the understanding it had full service history, so I would be returning that car like a shot.

Phase 1, Phase 2 exhaust question

They made single lambda and twin lambda double barrel cats, it WILL fit the twin lambda fine, but not the single lambda ones.

    Apple rant

My home button is f**ked too, sent it to Apple to repair, got it back saying no fault could be found. Fault immediately reoccurred, so I kinda hate Apple right now too.

    Air filter for Clio 182

Is there genuinely no benefit whatsoever or just not worth the price? Mine has a slightly dirty panel filter in, worth changing for a new paper one?

    I want it. A lot. Don't care if it's s**t, looks cool.
