The plan is to keep it in such good condition! Its got coilovers, polybushes, full exhaust and remap so nothing to do in that department. :cool:

Getting a rattle when driving with the throttle on, sounds like a metallic rattle from the front offside of the car. Quite quiet, can only hear it when driving around 10-30mph, and stops as soon as you take your foot off the throttle. Any ideas?

I had a Sportex backbox on my old Mk1 1.2 Clio several years ago. Poor fit, far to noisy, just generally horrible. Must have improved recently...

FIXED! Got under the car properly today, the spring on the gear linkage had come off. Putting that back on has improved the feel of the gearbox no end - I also lubed up both ends of the linkage but I think the spring was causing all the problems, gearbox is SO smooth now, and finding gears...

It is one of the plugs on the thermostat housing, next to the dizzy cap. *Think* its the brown plug.

Quite the opposite for me, anytime I haven't replaced the washer it leaks when hot. :dapprove:

Maybe I should fix mine then :S Unplugging the cold start injector can help, underneath the inlet manifold, did it when I was diagnosing another problem.

Bad earth or crank sensor, I would bet on crank sensor personally.

I have looked on Dialogys and isn't the heatshield on the wrong side of the exhaust to make a difference, or am I getting it all wrong?

I reckon its oil, can't see any problems on the linkage. I'll stick the proper 75w80 in, I have heard some people have issues with the 75w90 I put in.
