Actually mate yes I did, now I know why its all gone tits up lol
Any idea how I may be able to get them back to work at the start of the page?
Re: Chris's Black Gold Trophy to be
It's really strange, I paid to go pro on photobucket and now I've logged on to see all of the above, I may just get one of the mods to delete this thread and I'll start a new thread, looks a bit pants now.
Again thanks for all the positive comments, I'm in...
Re: Chris's Black Gold Trophy to be
cheers for the comments, trophy spoiler is direct from the factory through dieppe, thankfully Tom@Wests Renault did the honours of sourcing one for me :)
Re: Chris's Black Gold Trophy to be
Small update, picked up a few carbon bits up from Chris Powell a few weeks back
After removing half the dash I finally got the clocks out and proceeded to take them apart
I gave the dials and plastic cover a clean then put them back together
All fitted...
I can imagine mate, well if you get the opportunity to get some further details or have some contact details for the guy, then if you wouldnt mind passing them on it would be muchly appreciated
They should just require a wipe over mate, it depends how long you're leaving it between washes and how much you boot the car around.
Id maybe try wire wool to get all of the crap off them, then attack them with a full tube of autosol lol
oops sorry didnt realise you were waiting for me :o Ended up having a right fart on with my debit card so couldnt pay for my fuel :( anyway I made it, shame I never got to speak to either of you two
The forged suggestion was only because boost is addictive, fair enough running at low psi at around 250 with be fun for a while but you'll soon be wanting to get it turned up, if the ingrediants are already done it saves you pulling the lump out again to do the pistons in it when you want to go...
Looks great mate, love the attention to detail, needs some new wheels now though, you've had them 2118's too long compared with how long you usually keep wheels, call/txt me when they're available ;)
I've got to say, James @ stone automotive is certainly pulling out all the stops to make sure...
I'd always have forged pistons and rods in the bottom end if I was planning on turbo'ing anything that wasnt intended to be turbo'd from the factory.
Have a read here, its a big eye opener, especially into costs...
Here is the advice you'll get on here when it comes to mods.
Turini's
Silvervisions
Eibach Sportlines or coilovers
Whiteline anti roll bar
Yozza or btb exhaust
Recaros
I've probably left some usual generic s**t off there but thats the general mods on here.
As for finding another forum, you'll...
Yeah I'm working at Npower now, I noticed another BG in the EDS building as well, that means theres mine at Npower, yours at Albany, austin at HMRC and that one over at EDS
That's exactly how I got my set from JamesT87 on here, ran them on my car with no problems at all, no banging etc. I wasnt aware of any other parts that were supplied with them from AST new?
