Yeah its had a few owners since me now, I spent a lot of time and money getting every last detail put right on that car after geordie sort of re-assembled it after its respray. I sold it with a set of mint refurbed steelies, I just left the black wheels on as the weather as you can see above was...
I've just ordered the spax for my cup packed 182. If they're s**t they'll be getting taken off and sold.
I've had konigsports and they're absolutely shocking on the road.
Bilsteins are decent but mine ended up needing a refurb 500 miles after I bought them from lewis taylor, they were fine...
Re: Boosted BlackGold Project - F4rT content.
Apparently someone who changed the brake/abs/master cylinder set up on there turbo clio was atroscious (sp)
Yeah the log manifold is the ED/K-tec one
Re: Boosted BlackGold Project - F4rT content.
Good luck with the manifold lewis, that engine was for a kangoo van not a clio.
Anything will fit, its just the lengths you'll go to, to make it fit. Thankfully T.Trophy has dropped off a lovely log manifold for me so I wont be f4rting (;)) around...
If he's saying it will dull down I'm guessing the paint is brighter or got more depth than the rest of the panels? Indigo can be a ball ache for oxydisation so it may be worth getting the rest of the car machine polished to see if that helps.
As for the running issue you had, I had a very...
I've used them quite a lot, never had any problems apart from when a member on here arranged collection of an exhaust through paisley freight and it ended up with a dent in the tailpipe which wasnt there when it left me. I also bubble wrapped the tailpipes incase that happened. I'm far from...
Gt cams are decent mate, think 438's are the best for peak power though.
Think I was chatting to you at fred's a while back when you had a whirring noise on the car, hope you got it sorted out mate :)
I've just realised this is Waynes saxo, met him a few years ago at FCS and trax, think it was 2008 from memory, was a sound lad and well into his detailing back then when myself and pred were doing it as a hobbie.
As I dont bother with sax-p anymore I never knew he even had this, nevermind...
Bad luck mate, its always the same when you're taking on a big project, something always ends up biting you on the arse when you least expect it.
Did you get a power figure before the charger let go?
That's cool mate, like I say one of them is pretty much as it should be, the other has less pressure in so I'd get them checked over and refurbed before I used them
heres one side
And the other
Looking at their condition etc regarding surface rust, I'm confident the claimed 24-25k miles...
I've got some in the forsale section that wont be expensive to refurb ;) no scored shafts etc.
I think I'm in one of the best positions to comment.
I've had nearly every suspension set up fitted to a clio that you would ever think about for the road.
Eibach sportlines
Apex springs
raceland...
You'll have to get those trophy turini's off then austin if you're going all trophy purist on us ;)
Personally I think the cup and trophy spoilers are very nice
If keeping the ph1 rear bumper go for a cup spoiler
If you're going ph2 rear on your ph1 then the trophy spoiler suits it better, it...

Going to get somemore coilovers for the dci if anyone has any decent ones kicking about?
It's currently rocking around standard height and standard wheels, looking generally sorry for itself :(
