What plusnet package you got?
I don't get traffic shaped on my account? My downloads start at midnight and everything I usually download is finished by the cut off time of 8am
They are pretty open about what traffic gets shaped on which package.
If its on coated stock then yeah we default at running it at 200lpi - the press guys have no problems holding it - if uncoated then yeah we turn the dot down to 150lpi.
Thats what separates good and bad printers :) I'll never downsample a photoshop job if it has text in it - any modern day RIP will find this a breeze and running it 200lpi you'll see the best quality.
Max DSL - you'll get the fastest speed your line can support (up to 8mb) - once moved across you might get some disconnect issues for a week or so until you line works out the most stable speed.

Does your job look like my screenshot?
Also are you on windows or mac? windows is abit crap at colour management.
I think the files will be fine m8.
Send it to your printers and ask to see a proof before they run it - you'll get a close match to how it will look on the press.
Any problems just give me a shout! Next time set it up in indesign ;)
Ok I've had a look....
I can't see the problem this end? The images seem to have clipped out fine - I've printed both the AI and PDF and can't see the issue?
I've also opened the PDF in photoshop to get colour samples from the background and the background near the images, they have the same...
