Well exhaust will be an easy fix..... mid rubber was a little soft, so a stainless steel cable tie has done the necessary just now until I get an updated item sourced
Another step forward & another cup of tea!
Glove box modified....
Cut, filed, foam packed and spaced to sit in line.......Just a little back to black and the edges will disappear, I'll leave that until the final clean up though!
Good thing is anything modified can easily be replaced :up...
Time for a quick tea break, so a little update:
Well a little perseverance and all is back in place! hate cutting carpets and mats etc but needs must....... as it has to look tidy
excuse the state of the drivers mat, but I have cut the original set of mats, no point in making...
Quick update tonight:
Whilst I realise the 200 is a heavy bugger, I've decided to add to that instead of reducing it today 🙈 safety first though! so the safety devices cage is completed....
considered removing the carpets, but I like the clubsport look (just now) so I'll cut the...
Already done mate. the photos were taken at a time that i would remember to take them 🙈
The only bit of protection on at that time was the foam between the cooler & the bumper bar. Before the bumper went on i chased the lines all the way through with rubber wrap and more cable ties
Well it's been a while since I've actually looked at the AG........ bathroom build took over so after 8 weekends of that and nothing else I managed to give her a good wash, polish and detail. Hadn't turned a wheel so more dust removal than anything else 🙈
Anyway, looking a little...
I had similar issues with 2500 on the Trophy mate, they are just no where near up for the job. I would however highly recommend the PAGID set up that the AG has on it just now, never failed at knockhill, which is hard on the car given weight and track..... the alcons also playing their part but...
Yeah something along those lines mate. I've already talked to a mate about a new bonnet for install  can't bring myself through deface this one
Finally got round to giving her a wash tonight, first time since the track night which is not like me, works just been over the top so never looked at her... I even managed to wash and detail her at 5:00am on the Wednesday morning following the Tuesday night track night. So a lot happier she's...
Cheers mate. Yeah It was, but runs very hot, so oil cooler and and some clever ducting / vents in the bumper / front end required.
The Lotus looked amazing. How are you liking it?
Dunno mate,
At a guess 1200 for car, 50 for supercharger and cage, 100 for me and similar for Fraser lol.... so going round at approx 1400 / 1450 kg as I had passengers in all night.... tooo heavy
I agree.... love the look of the cae for the 200 but I don't like the £800 price tag..... PMS was one of the best mods I put on the Trophy
Ps Keep up the good work Joe
yeah - I had 5.2 mpg and a range of 46 miles with more than 3/4 of a tank 🙈 must be cause its heavy!! i think this may need to go full track over clubsport :grimacing:
Absolutely it's a sub minute car. I'm braking way to early coming into duffus and hairpin, that will take 2 seconds off straight away. It's just learning the brakes as they are ferocious and I have the lock ups worry but all does f el good
Major over heating last night which was draining...
That's what I'm thinking..... things an animal, down to same lap times as trophy even with Fraser in the passenger seat and it has lots more to give..... needs to be much lighter though..... much lighter!
I'm also going to have to improve oil cooling and look at a larger intercooler
Car ran faultlessly last night, so all issues resolved hopefully..... typical though the weather was on and off rain!
Car felt amazing planted over the Trophy, which had a lot of time spent on the suspension set up, so that's a real positive. Very flat at every bend, which was outstanding...
Well two track nights on the trot this week, tomorrow and Wednesday night. Let's hop I have more luck than I did last outing!
New MAF & KNOCK sensors fitted, along with the extinguisher system and the matt black wheels with the R888Rs on so let's hope the weather stay as planned!
Usual wash...
