I put it to you Sir, that your friend is a liar, a cad and a bounder. lol
Is this one of those stories from junior school that ends 'and then i woke up'?
Lol, its more fun swapping your rear end mid corner and bumping up and over the apex isnt it. ;) ;)
Cant watch it at work, but the whole thing is a risk, but a worth while one. June last year, Sabine broke the engine on the M5 and it dumped oil round most of the track. You can imagine how...
Probably around the original 172/182 list price, then start adding the cup parts etc.
If the rumours are true, this will give you an idea. Say a base price of £13k?
Based on the Meggy, so it wont be 18's
• Cup Chassis
18" Lightweight Anthracite Alloy Wheels
Anthracite coloured...
Im going to. Prices are out on the 1st march and i'd imagine with the usual 6-8 week delivery, you'll start seeing them around the middle of April or start of May.
See the thread in Media and Pics.
Based on the micra? lol. They share parts, thats about it.
I presume they will do a chubby with Cup suspension option (unless a better spoiler is included in the Cup pack). The rest will probably be optional eg: Xenons, Leather, Sunroof, Climate over AC etc
I wonder if its going to have a...
Rentech on the southcoast or GDI in Cambs, not really that local though. They know what they are going with the cars. CS members get a little discount i think. Both very highly recommended
Not seen it before on the Mk2's, have seen it on loads of Mk1's. As said, must have been a conversion from a base model and probably used what was to hand or cheapest.
Wouldnt have bothered personally, but there arent many ready turbo'd options about.
Lol, do you drive round with the H/Brake on?
Sounds like you had serious binding going on. The rears do fcuk all really and should have lasted a lot longer. Mine, after 27k are still just about ok and thats after several trackdays and trips the Nurburgring. I'd get them checked out so they...
Tell them you want a refund or the problems fixed FOC. If it was purchased from a dealer and not privately, surely they have a duty to provide you with a road worthy car. After a few months ownership they could claim wear and tear but not after 3 weeks.
Failing that, ring Renault UK.
Vee's (whether you agree or not, just in my experience) are slower on track and are a totally different drive. Cups can be chucked about and taken to the limit and back off without thinking about it. Mk1 Vee's take concentration to drive quickly as on the limit the slightest mistake might see...
Replacement PE'2 W's on mytyres are around £90 arent they? Thats without fitting, so from a local fitter your probably looking at around £200 minimum.
So you didnt get done that badly.
Its a shame the ITR does you dry on insurance.
Id get some coilovers, and some mild work done at GDI etc and keep it until the new Cupra R or CTR-R is out.
