hmmmm, thats just burst my bubble, when i rang up national numbers, they said that i could, stupid cow. looks like ill be buying a plate with 11 OLE on it or even MOL 8 or MOL 3 think thats a stupid bloody rule, surely if u can put an older plate on a car then u can put a new one on. talk...

well mines a K reg car, and im getting M999 OLE on my car, and its allowed... your not allowed to use the new style reg system on an old car.. eg MO04 OLE or something like that.

u could try liverpool victoria, theyre very mod friendly, dont charge any extra aslong as the engine capacity is the same as standard

yep, i rung up about getting my RT chipped and they said aslong as the engine capacity isnt changed then feel free to do whatever u want lol

lol well 1 company that fitted one of my friends alarms was GAP security, others were fitted by other companies.. but still poor fitting, wires left dangling, connections not spliced properly etc etc I dont really want a clifford thou, too much hassle, and i want to fit it myself lol

sorry i meant if it goes off and your speeding then expect a NIP lol theres just not enough time to react with a laser gun, unless u buy them laser defusers (v. illegal lol) in which case it gives u some time to slow down

as bill11 says, its too late once theyve fired that laser anyway, and theres not a big chance of getting laser scatter from other cars being targetted. I just see it as if it goes off, expect a NIP thru the post

i see there being no point in me getting a pro fitted alarm as its an easy enough job, for me anyway been playing with electronics since i were a kid. its not as if a pro fitted alarm is gonna give me a cheaper insurance quote, as ive already asked. Id rather save the money id spend on...

well i reckon it did come with an alarm, but its been turned off, and keys have been lost... same with mine, i got no key thatll fit it.. mines a clio 1.4 rt

think its part of the alarm/immobiliser... mines just got a hole there now, where i guess someone poked it thru

I got a K reg 1.4 RT 5 door aswell, but ive gone a bit further with the modding and its in the bodyshop now being resprayed and kitted up... Id say get a set of 15" rims, perhaps an old williams set, and lower it 30-40mm, then u wont have too harsher ride and itll look nice, and have some...

Got my mk 1 RT 1.4 which has an alarm (not that i can do anything with it) the built in one, there is a key type thing in the glovebox, not sure if thats standard, anyways its turned off perminently... Im just wondering what alarms u lot have, that dont have the standard factory ones fitted...

its underneath where the jack would go, opposite side to where the washer tank is, underneath a black panel... its a b**ch to get out lol

The road angel is just a GPS receiver with a database of co-ordinates, which show areas on intrest (speed cameras, blackspots etc) The only advantage about the road angel is having the laser sensor to see if their pointing the laser gun at ya (at which point youve been caught anyway) PDAs...

yep, my car has cost me alot, only been driving it since april... car = £0 (got given it by a friend) new bodyparts to replace f*cked ones = £80 kit = £650 respray = £1400 leather interior = £100 ICE = £400 MDF for ICE = £50 road angel = £270 Zorst = £135 IK = £40 Ive spent way too much on...

JBL seem to have quite a good footing in the budget range of audio... on a car audio site, they fed one of them 250w RMS/1000w peak subs with over 1000w RMS, and it took a beating before it finally gave up... even they were suprised

i drove my RT around for a fair bit with just 1 seat in it when i couldnt be bothered to put the R19 leather in there... was fun, and the car just felt bigger... Also when i was going along, i could look at the road thru the 2 bolt holes that go out by the exhaust/cat which was fun lol

the 2 inside are torx 35 i think, and the 2 bolts underneath are 12mm i think... not totally sure, something like that as i had to take mine out to put my R19 leather in

i was like that with my RT, had it booked in for a full respray etc Monday 19th July... have yet to get it back lol

in that pic im sure u can see the manual mirror adjuster on the lil panel on the door...
