http://erc.qmuc.ac.uk/cliosport/gallery/full/1091655797__Graphic1.jpgim visiting the sign makers on monday with my design, pretty simple, let me know if u want a different design and ill try n knock one up in coraldraw
i would do, but the carpet is in the car, which is in the bodyshop at the moment lol, i wanted to atleast start making the install before i get it back, may have to pop up there to nick my carpet back lol
Hi, could someone with a mk1 clio measure from the smallest point, i.e on each wheel arch and the depth roughly from the back seats right to the tailgate, as i need to make a basic false floor.
I only want a rough measurement so i can knock up a square bit of floor, not worried about not...
not my taste, but at the end of the day its his car, he can do what he likes with it.
people get too wound up about what everyone else does to their cars on here, good example of that is lexus lights.
id like to know how the mk1 ph3 owner got over 120 out of his, them things have got power steering on em, so thats 5 less break, u running nos or summit lol.
Mine struggles after 100 to get anywhere, but give it time and itll clime, wouldnt shift after 119 (on the gps), dials were totally out...
true brun, it does the job, and i dont push it to the limit, i just got it coz it was cheap at the time, and it does my subs quite nicely, with a bit of slack aswell.
Gonna get it scoped to see its true power output at work, and ill let u know how it goes.
i remember driving mine for the first time, a couple of weeks after passing my test, had got given it even before i had a license, and it wouldnt pass its MOT just after id passed.
Then got it passed, insured etc, and went out for the first drive, it felt weird, but really good, was proper...
yep, its more efficient than class A/AB etc amps, think its something like 80% efficient at its lowest, whereas class A/AB amps can be as low as about 60%
im running a Sony XM-D1000P5.
Some specs here:
500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms
900 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms
Class D design
Speaker- and preamp-level inputs
Variable low-pass crossover
Gold-plated connectors
Bass boost
Low-pass filter
13-5/8"W x 2-1/8"H x 13-1/8"D
Its a great amp...

yea, i went to the essex rolling road day they did not so long ago, i got that figure from decat, piperX IK, and k-tec zorst.
That was before the chip, theres definately a gain with the chip on, plenty more torque, gives a nice break neck feeling when changing gears within the power band.
i think its mainly down to personal preference really, i got mine set to just over 100hz, and its perfectly fine, alot of people i know go for around 120hz.
All depends, as everyone hears differently
im from down in kent, gillingham to be pricise.
dont think theres many RT owners around kent that are tuning theres, as, as most people say, its not worth the money lol.
Ill get a scan of my RR graph on here when i can nick the scanner off my dad, which was done before i fitted the hill...
Yep, im ordering the new cam in the next week or so and will get it all fitted prolly up hill power, as they can remap their chip.
Im thinking about getting that throttle body adaptor made up, then fitting a viper/bmc cda etc to it.
But first of all i need to get ahold of the throttle body...
1) got given the car, paying back a loan for kitting/respraying @ £115 per month
2) ~£95 TPFT per month
3) Roughly £100 a month, but nothing at the mo, as i gots no car
Ive got 2 vibe 10" bessies in a sealed enclosure, they are 300w RMS, 600w Max 4ohm SVC subs.
I run em in parrellel on the sony XM-D1000P5 and its specs are:
1600W max power
500W RMS x 1 into 4 ohm
900W RMS x 1 into 2 ohm
So really im overpowering em, but they take the abuse, ive never had to...
ouch sorry to hear, i know youd been waiting a long time for your car to be re-sprayed n theyve gone n done a dodgy job.
Do what these chaps say, they seem in the know about it.
Hope it gets sorted soon
could be rocker cover gasket, or loose rocker cover bolts, i had this on mine, lost half a sump of oil, then lost almost the rest when the dipstick decided to slide up n spit oil everywhere
Let me know how u get on mate
im 19, on my RT, on my own is 1200 TPFT, mods cost me no extra, and are all declared.
Not really what id call cheap unfortunately. Depends on where u live aswell, I guess i must be in a high crime rate part of my town
get an RT mate, they are good cars for what they are, n are tuneable if u wanted to go down that route.
Nice n nippy, get a nice one and u cant go wrong.
plus cheaper to insure, and they keep up with most 1.4s of today, including the MG ZR 1.4 :)
tescos fuel is supposed to have cleaning agents in it, i.e for injectors, like optimax. I know this isnt really relative, but my Mk1 clio runs alot better on tescos stuff, than normal unleaded.
