If i could of afforded the insurance, i would of bought a williams rather than my valver. I can insure a williams for about 1k at the mo but i only pay 600 on the valver. Get a Quote!!
Performance wise they are simular anyway.
225= 0-60 in 6.5 and top speed of 147mph
V6= 0-60 in 5.8 and top speed of 155mph
A new performance chip would sort out the megane. Turbo = easy power.
I do prefer the v6 though. Depends what you want really.
I got the stats from renault.co.uk...
Renault build the v6 to be a toy/track day car and racer. Therefore its gonna be better than the 225. The engine is in the right place and the drive comes from the rear. It will be a well balanced machine with plent of grip for cornering due to its wide track. The 225 is just a road car with...
Haynes manual says 980kg for the Valver. If the vts is lighter then it should be about the same performance all the way, cuz the Valver has more power.I thought the vts was 120bhp anyway.

The rare ones are
Black/silver/Green/White/ Gun metal Grey, I think.
Ive seen qiute a few blue and red + naples red
Naples Red is pearlesent, Not metallic.
Seems there are more rare colours than i thought.

Yeh, My quess is £200+. Unless you do it ya self. Sounds like the head gasket but could be the rocker cover gasket. It will misfire if 1 plug is being drowned in oil. Oh yeh, Is the car drinking water or has the water coluor changed or is ya oil abit creamy round the lid

Gutted for ya mate. You must be well upset. I think you should buy it back and put the engine in a Valver. If not then sell me the engine and gearbox. Pretty please:D
They should have a clio tech forum on here. Theres loads of topics where people are moaning about whats wrong with there 172/182. They cant be that well put together really . They are French though. lol
Is it a 3rd generation rx7? If so. Why would you get rid? They have so much potential and turn more heads than a clio ever would. Plus they are faster than a clio.
My mates got a standard gtt. 1st an 2nd gear the gtt has the valver but in 3rd my valver pulled it back in. At 100mph was comfortably behind him. When i say comfortably i mean my foot was to the deck. lol
In real life a williams wouldnt exaclty leaving a valver for dead would it? You just have to revv a Valver harder to compete, and it will rev to 7k all day long. Thats what makes it a fun drive. They are both awsome cars.
My limter is at 7000 on the Valver
Williams is 6500

Depends what you want really. In a straight line the clio and the golf should be simular, speed wise. Around the corners it would be a different story though. Clio would whoop ass. But! The golf is in a different league for its build quality. No squeeks or rattles if ya no what i mean. 8k is a...
7500rpm:cry:!!!
Really feel for ya mate. Personally i think your engine must of been on its way out. 7.5k is way too much for a f7r. Its gonna throw a rod when held at that sort of rpm. :(
