You're right of course! I wonder if maybe they do already.... ? Anyone care to own up as being a Renault spy ;)
This certainly happens in the computer industry - developers for the big companies spend some of their time monitoring discussion forums like this to find out what people want...
Hmm, the plot thickens. Just been out again, and the relay clicking was going mental as soon as I turned on the ignition, so I removed the electric window fuse :) Checked the passenger side window to make sure I'd got the right fuse and lo and behold it didn't work. Good. This seemed to calm the...
Yup, I think the offical name is something like DESTRUCT "Dealer-Extra-Revenue-Timer-Runs-Until-Car-Terminates" :clown:
I never use the auto lights, so maybe those are broken too :S
Sorry, this is a bit of an essay! Basically, I think my drivers side electric window has packed up or is about to (goes down but not up!). As my car is nearly out of warranty I'd like to get this sorted quick, but I think it might be an intermittant problem, and by the time I get to Renault on...
I too went from a 1.2RL clio to a 172, and wow did it seem quick. Seemed to take me ages to get used to the power (the 1.2 Clio was my first car) and it still makes me smile when I drive it.
What you need to do once you've gotten used to your 172/182 is not drive it for a week or so, or drive...
Mine currently says about 33mpg and thats been mainly round town driving. Can get up to about 40 on a long trip if it's a mix of steady a-roads and motorways. I find that Optimax gives you about 1-2 extra mpg.
Take it in. I had flaking leather on my 2.5yr old 172, about 25k miles and they replaced the steering wheel under warranty. No arguments, nothing. I was quite surprised :)
Yup. But not with the stalling ;) It used to be the case if it was wet and I floor it in 1st the light will flash... not done it recently though, so maybe I'm getting better at not flooring it too quickly, also I've got new front tyres now so that might have helped too :)
You are right of course, they would just remove one and cause another! I never had chance to take mine in for rattle fix under warranty as it was too old by the time I bought it - and I can't honestly imagine walking in and saying "durr, there is a kind of rattle when I drive - where from? -...
Breaking news.....
Clio drivers in Wales fed up with reliability issues have taken to carrying bikes with them when taking a trip to the local Spar shop "just in case".
"Obviously" neutral doesn't count as there is no physical gear involved! :clown:
But, you can count reverse as two as there is the little "extra" gear that does the reversing bit
Mine used to do a similar thing. Go over a bump as you are going round a bend and it felt like like the back end slid all over the place. Even did it n the motorway at 70 when there was a different in height where two road surfaces were joined - that was scary!
Took it to Reanult and they...
Hmm I can't remember. All I know is that they hardly ever seem to come on when I want them to - i.e. approaching a roadabaout - and they always go crazy when it's hardly raining!
Though I was quite impressed with them last time I was on the motorway and it was raining.
From my limited messing around with mythtv sometime ago, you do need the SQL database, and I think to get it going you need to run mythtv_backend and then mythtv_frontend (or something like that).
If this is something that needs doing at 36k miles, shouldn't it be included in the 36k service and hence the price???
I wasn't looking forward to forking out £200+ for 36k service in the spring, I'm looking forward to it even less now if that doesn't include changing the aux belt and that...
