Anyone know the torque settings for rear dampers. I'm taking them off later, is there a certain torque they need at top and bottom?

Its hard to explain, but over the last few days i've been noticed the car feeling more bumpy than usual on the motorway. Could the shocks have gone? If so how would i check? Feels like the rear?

Since having my tyres changed, it feels like i'm getting more vibration through the stearing wheel. I've checked the tyre pressures and they are fine. Its been ages since i've had new tyres, but is this normal? If not, could it be anything else?

When i have been doing full lock in a car park for example and its slightly wet on the floor i can hear the front tyres slipping laterally. Embarrassing really. They still have a bit of tred left on them. Is this normal?

I know most people tend to strip out the interior to save weight, but is there anything under the bonnet that could be removed? I know you can go for the carbon fibre bonnet option, but is there anything else?

Where can i get hold of a key fob battery for a mk1 ph1 172? Its slightly bigger than the one in the 182 for some reason.

I've had a tunepoint in my 182 for a while now. I usually listen to music off my USB drive. If i plug it in after the car is on it works fine. However, if i plug it in before the car is turned on it wont find it. Is this the same for everyone else?

Noticed recently that my rear window isn't clearing all over. It seems that a few of the elements have stopped working. Is there any way to fix this? Or is it a new window jobby? If so, I presume its not an easy job at the window looks bonded on.

Turned the climate control on yesterday and its started sounding very load when on full blast compared to normal. Anyone else had this problem. It sounds like the motor is struggling. Any ideas?

OMG how much have these gone up in the past year. About September last year I bought 4 PE2's fitted for £330. I rang the same place today and they are now quoting £480 fitted. Surely this is taking the piss a little? Anyone else noticed similar paterns?
