How easy is it to.....

Car  Golf GTD Mk7
....run CAFs from the front lower grill to the wheel arches? Don't really want to remove the fogs, so trying to think of other ways to cool down the brakes.

Shouldn't be too hard to runa CAF to the Brakes... You will just need to cut a hole in the Arch Liner

Ive been thinking of doing this. I think it would work ok. I think normally deflectors are used to direct the flow towards the brakes?

Pick it up from the lower front bumper/splitter area and use deflectors on the inner arch to move the flow in the right direction over the brakes. It's not ideal but its easy to do on the road car.

Ideal solution would be a setup partialy surrounding the disc itself which is fed directly from the nose. However thats not really possible on the road car.

Just looks gash without them IMO and it would annoy me knowing that they should be there! I'm not totally sold on the idea of brake cooling yet anyway was just thinking about it the other day!
