Wondering if there is some decent springs out there that offer a 40mm drop? I don't want to run Apex as the ride quality is terrible, however Eibach sportlines don't offer enough drop to pull off 15's.
I'm trying to stay away from spending £700+ for coilovers as IMO they're not that good on...
What's the best suspension set up for the road then Chris? I've had the trophy obviously which was amazing, just wondering if there's anything that can possibly be better without spending crazy amounts
As some will have seen I've been putting my car back to standard'ish.
After selling a lot of the important bits, I went out for one of 'those' drives and realised that the car is awesome and I really love it, I'd sort of convinced myself that a fabia vrs would be better but I think I was...
I ran my trophy with the factory pins in, eibach sportlines and whiteline adjustable ARB.
To say the set-up was perfect for the road is an under statement, I love the way you can feel the suspension adjust underneath you when changing from left to right handers. Great bit of kit.
p@blo, I...
I've never heard of anyone with any issue's with turbo's apart from the lad above having a problem with detting. There was a stretch where S/C clio's were going bang because of the crank pulley slipping, but that's been solved by fitting the woodruff key fitted to meg 225
I think as long as you...
As I've read little snippets of this, I didn't really have a good understanding of where the problems started, I've just read the last 15 pages and to say I'm actually in love with this car now is an under statement.
A real credit goes to all that's came together to make this car work for Le...
So then, after seeing plenty of these kits being fitted to cars at JMS a few weeks back, has anyone had their cars mapped yet? I'm really interested to see the results from the new design etc.
I think the main problem people can't come to terms with, is that k-tec have potentially done a propper job on someones car. As there have been many horror stories in the past, particularly when venturing into the ITB/boost world of modifying when K-tec have been concerned. All credit to them if...
I've done this a few ways.
My first ph1 I fitted a whiteline ARB, the difference was awesome, it gives much more confidence and really ties the front and rear end of the car together, I then added coilovers and the package was complete. The car handled well, but the difference from adding the...
I'll keep my eyes out for it if it ends up in the North East
Bit of a sh!tter if someone has kept it mint with hardly any miles on. I'd keep an eye out for bits coming up on ebay etc
Looks gorgeous mate, I think these wheels really suit the clio, apart from my cup, this is the only mk2 clio I've seen with these on. I've now sold them though, 'Unclebuncles' purchased them so they'll be a flamer with them on soon.
How you enjoying keeping them clean? lol
Looks like you lot had an awesome time, for some reason I thought dave would look more child'like than he does. The disapointment is too much for me.
Is Tom@JLS ever off his phone though? LOL
Can anyone put the pics up of my silver 172 cup? reg is EJ53 YZH, on the entry photo's I'm behind that green Rx7 at the 8.00am-8:30am entry photo's.
Also on track I'm rolling on white speedline chronos but can't remember what cars were near me :(
Sorry mate that's not what I meant.
I meant you can't actually see it doing any sort of work before you start cleaning it with brushes/mitts etc. I may try some of the autobrite gel as I havent really found a good wheel cleaner yet
Yeah I did it that way with Craigs charged sunflower, tardis then wolfs after a good wash. I've used wheel cleaners in the past, namely billberry and tbh I dont think it does anything, people say spray it onto dirty wheels without pre-rinsing. However if you just rinse them, let them dry and...
As far as I'm aware you've got two options, K-tec or Rs Tuning.
I think Rs tuning were doing the conversion for £4-4500 drive in drive out.
Some supercharged cars have went bang, some due to using shitty engine components, others due to a problem with the crank pulley.
As far as times go...
I'm happy with the above product tbh, I'm in search of some wheels that are caked in brake dust just to give this a try. I've got a 350z in ATM for paint correction but dont think the wheels are in a bad enough state to attack them with this
They're 16" Speedline Chrono's. They're for sale as well
